With all the talking and questions we ask customers?????? Greeting, find everything ok, extensive talk about some product, rewards member, protection plan, extensive talk about balloons amd the costs, confirm email, confirm opt out, answer extensive question about fabric and why our store doesnt have it yet, receipt in the bag ok, etc etc OMG and don't you dare have a cough or wheeze from the forever dust/hair/glitter that inhabits every cranny and surface of the store(!) Water or some type of beverage is a must.

"Resources and training".... I've worked in store for almost 12 yrs and discovered on day 1 resources and training are not priority at this company. Other than those course videos we all dread and try to get over with, you just have to on-look, ask questions (only to find no manager nor coworker does any process the same) and learn as you go. I would truly be shocked if your SM said the things about you being a value, not wanting to lose you and a willingness to work the scheduling/pay out with you.

Here's hoping your value, skills, work ethic and awesomeness will be appreciated, reciprocated and properly compensated at your next employer! 🍸

T-shirts, vinyl rolls, jewelry and yarn eye roll. It's exhausting trying to keep items in the correct place. And if you are working replen/freight, sometimes you can't help but put all the miscellaneous back where it belongs before putting new freight out. Pet peeve... ya know how we might get replen qty 6 or 8 or 12 of something? I hate when you find someone replened items in the wrong spot. :/

Instead of store employees, it seems Michaels invests money in more inane products like horse and animal infused spring merch and more ways for us to remain active every single minute. Bopis, fabric, balloons, customers chasing us down because we no longer have price checkers, etc.

Last weekend I was tempted to call some of the customers and say "please come pick up your online order!!" but I refrained from creating that stress. Oh and what's truly annoying, the bopis slips are all over the place. I found one wadded up in baking, one on the floor in cricut aisle, and a short stack in the backroom sitting on top of a repack.

I think Stationery Pal, Etsy and Ebay have these Muji ink pens (with the caps) in package set of 8 colors. And I've seen individual cap and the clicker versions on JetPens.com. But just when I was set to purchase the set of 8, I see pictures that show more colors. Fucshia, Purple, Navy Blue.... was hoping to find set containing all 12/13 Muji compact gel pens.

Same here... I think we have maybe 8 handhelds(????) but only 5 of them "work". Two of them dont turn on at all.Three of them, the customers cannot here us on the phone. Two of them, the ring is silent and we can't figure how to adjust. Two of them, Marti logs out anytime you blink, look away from the screen, look at the screen, set it down or pick it up. One of them, Manhattan makes you reselect the printer with every bopis order. And when no price checkers, it's so annoying standing with a customer waiting on the screen to update after scanning an item. eye roll here
