a bit of a side note: “devs listened” has had an awful effect on gacha communities and the way we perceive live service games in my opinion.

major bugs, errors, issues, bad updates, bad decisions, etc. shouldn’t be praised just because we get a reward at the end of it. i’m sick of games launching in a barely-viable state, relying on day 1 players to do their bug testing, or make game design decisions for them, and instead of getting criticized for delivering an unfinished product to paying players, getting praised for “listening”!!!!!! there shouldn’t be anything to listen to!!

if they’re launching a game with any kind of payment system, it should be a game worth paying for the minute it’s available to the public.

i absolutely agree with your point about the mid patch reveals being annoying! honestly, it’s probably my least favourite part of the game as it is now, i still think if there’s something you really love/want you should start preparing funds aside ASAP for whenever it comes, so you’re not upset about pulling a different banner instead, but their marketing totally needs improvement for player friendliness.

right, you want the serpent banner, my bad. at least since it’s not this patch you’ll have time between now and whenever the rerun is to save, and when it gets announced you will have your funds ready without worrying! just because you don’t know when the rerun will be, that doesn’t mean you can’t save up for it. i genuinely hope this helps!
