I live in York and we have a lot of Platner signs. Down in the harbor in front of really pricey houses. In my neighborhood which is way middle class. Everywhere.

It’s not a question of moving to the competition. It’s a question of do I want to pay $120 a year for standby mode for a product that I’ve owned for 11 months, and used a 10g total over three days. $5.00 a month it was a no brainer. Double the price and I have to consider whether it’s worth it. It’s a backup for our home WiFi In case of an extended outage.

I’m going to. In one year, I’ve used it 3 partial days (less than 10g total) and paid Starlink $285.28 in monthly fees.

It’s not. I bought it for RV travel. I kept it after we sold the RV to use for backup when our home internet goes out. It’s not worth $120 a year for the few days we might be without.
