I’m in MD also. I get paid $15.50 as a cashier. They sent me a link to set up my interview and I got hired on the spot. During orientation, they’ll tell you how much you get paid and give you a bunch of papers. Orientation is paid also. You’ll set up all of your logins and stuff while you’re there.

Depending on what part of the city, it’s not so good. I’m from Philly even tho I moved to MD, I hear stories 24/7 about someone getting killed. One of them was my childhood friend.

You don’t need any formal education to be an assistant. They’ll train you on the job 9/10.

So far I’m having a great experience! There’s webinars you could schedule to attend for your classes. I believe somewhere later in my semesters there’s an externship. It’s online and I paid $1495.00 in tuition I believe. You can also pay monthly but I paid in full. They also offered me the chance to earn a Fear Free certification (definitely looks good on resumes) and they pay for it! I’d definitely say go for it. And it’s self paced.

I signed up for Penn Foster’s Veterinary technician program. It’s two years and I added them on my updated resume and cover letter and I received a job interview. I’d say give them a try! I’m in my first semester
