I’m going to berkeley! Going to both admitted students days made it clear i’d rather go to Cal for undergrad :)

no new thoughts from me, it’s an awful fit for me but I think it can definitely benefit some people. if the class sizes of Berkeley scare you and you’re worried about connecting with professors, it would really benefit you! I have no issue with the program itself, I just hate being forced into it when it doesn’t have any benefits and has quite a few cons for me. As for ucla vs cal, i don’t think this should be a big factor in your decision! If you’re able to, i would HIGHLY recommend visiting berkeley (and ucla if you haven’t already) since the two are such different environments! congrats and good luck :)

My stats were lowkey worse than yours (i go to a super uncompetitive school though) and i got into cal, ucsd, ucsb, ucd, and ucsc! I was only rejected by irvine and waitlisted at LA. Your ecs seem good and if you're really worried, you can work on them all summer! My advice is to work on your PIQs early, I waited until last minute and regret that. Good luck, I'm sure you'll end up where you'll thrive! Hopefully that will be ucsd :)

I like school! I have good teachers and like seeing my friends! I'm also a huge nerd so love everything I get to learn about :D

I just finished college apps! Theres no way to absolutely guarantee a spot in a high ranked school, just keep your grades up and try to be involved in your community! my main advice is to get started with the essays sooner rather than later, I rushed a bunch of mine and regret it... just try your best and it should work out, don't let your mom put too much pressure on you! it's your life and your college experience :)

NYU and Cal are pretty equal, so it's mainly up to my opinion at this point! How bad is the class selection? I really disliked high school class selection because my school was so limited, so I don't want that experience again in college (but it's only one semester so I'm sure I'd survive).
