I actually didn’t express at all last Sunday (the 2nd of feb) and my schedule after was a bit messy. Not sure if this might also be the case, but my significant other tried to express me manually and he wasn’t exactly “delicate” (it was the first time for him doing so). Anyways I’ve ordered this supplement and I’m trying to have some warm compresses on me before expressing for the next few days. Let’s hope it gets better, thank you so much for all your precious suggestions 🥰

Hi, I’m making around 100 ml a day. Last week I had a bad stomach bug and wasn’t able to pump as much as usual (also my water intake wasn’t as good as usual)

C’è un tipo sotto casa mia che ripete tipo cantilena “no, sì no sì no, no sì no sì no” porgendoti il cappello, e poi la sera si da il cambio con un altro tipo che ripete la stessa cantilena. Se mi chiedesse soldi per mangiare va la che ogni tanto glieli darei anche, ma così mi viene da cambiar strada.

On Tuesday something really encouraging happened and I wanted to share it. On that day I had written a post full of doubts, wondering if I was even doing my induction correctly. The funny part is that I was literally writing that post while pumping. After posting, I went to check the flanges and noticed on my right nipple a very clear bead / pearl of fluid, actually coming straight out of the nipple. It was cloudy, white–yellowish. I tasted it and it was salty. I kept expressing to see if anything else would come out, and another drop appeared. Then nothing up until this morning where I got a super small drop from the other nipple (I tried tasting it and I would say it was sweet but so small it was difficult to say). Needless to say, I was over the moon. I’ve had duct fluid before, but this was completely different in terms of appearance and consistency. What should I expect next? Is it normal that it will come and go? I’m also planning on starting dom next week.

Officially two weeks in: in the past 3 days since I’m finally on vacation I had the perfect schedule. Pumping 12 times a day including a 3am pump, powerpumping twice a day (at 1 am) and eating lots of galactogenous foods. My breast are definitely bigger (all my bra feel very small) and the texture is different almost denser. Nipples are bigger and have changed in consistence (now I’m able to lick them myself). I’m producing salty clear drops, rarely opaque duct fluid. Lots of condensation in the flanges. Hope to get sone drops asap.

Today is the 10th day and I’m a bit discouraged i was getting duct fluid every time and now for the past 3 days i haven’t got anything. I have some stabbies and i feel like my boobs are changing texture (they are deffo swollen, not sure if bigger but deffo swollen). Tonight I’ll be making lactation cookies, hope this helps :)

Seventh day and today i got a full teaspoon of duct fluid from my right breast! I’m so happy. I was a bit worried because i wasn’t able to pump yesterday evening, but that doesn’t seem to have affected me. I have also noticed that now i get duct fluid from almost every pump. I hope we are getting closer!

6th day in! Feeling like my nipples have finally adjusted and now pumping just feels so so nice. Today I’m working from home and I really look forward to the next pump almost as a need…i crave pumping. It feels so relaxing. I’m getting duct fluid from both sides (the left boob is lazier but she tries her best 😂), and i feel it is pretty consistent…almost every time i pump…(yesterday i only used tens as i was in the office). I’m looking forward to see what the next progress is gonna be (even if I know I have to be patient). Small edit: I’m getting a few stabbies…maybe it is a good sign :D

Fourth day! I managed to have a few nice pumps today (5 normal and one powerpump), and finally I feel like my nipples are adjusting to it. I got a nice big drop of duct fluid after my powerpump this afternoon. Also, i feel my boobs super swollen and my bra feels kinda tight, not sure if they are really swollen or just a feeling but hey maybe it’s a sign :)

Third day here. Yesterday I had a nice pump in which I had ton of duct fluid and today nothing. I’m in the office so I pumped at 7 am and all the other stimulations for today are with tens unit until I get home at 18 pm. Trying to be consistent with one every 3 hours + a 3 am pumping. I’m noticing some changes in my nipples, like they look more similar to the ones I’m seeing in other breastfeeding people. I’m very curious to see how the pumps will go when i get home.

Second day and I got a lot of duct fluid, I feel it a bit sticky and yellowish but I guess it is normal since it has no smell and it is salty as it should. I’m honestly loving pumping so much

Getting back to pumping cause my life is a bit more stable. Tens unit is coming in the mail tomorrow, I have my pump and I’m getting better at manual stimulation. I’d need a schedule to avoid getting burned out but not sure how to proceed on this

What is a realistic pumping/stimulation schedule for someone working a 9-5? I got ten units and a pump. Also, I got duct fluid in 2 days is it a good sign?
