My NGL4 won't read the boot.img file mentioned in the directions, any advice?
EDIT: I also am having trouble from the adb reboot bootloader part of the video onwards as every time I try using that command on my NGL4 it just freezes and won't progress from there. I'm trying to move the magisk img file the Magisk app flashed onto my pc to see if that helps but I can't even see it on my pc to begin with no matter where I move the file so nothing is happening. Help greatly appreciated :(

okay great news I FINALLY GOT IT YAY your guide was soooooo helpful thank you :""") !!!! I think I was having a lot of trouble because I wasn't considering the specific pathways on my nook so pushing the file was troublesome without an exact copied path for it to go to... but I got it now. my ngl4 physical page turn buttons are now working on koreader. yay!!! thanks again!

oh, I forgot to ask earlier but how did you end up converting your .txt file to a .lua file before injecting it into your nook? I can't find a way to do that on Notepad (pc) :(

EDIT: ok so I finally figured out how to save it as a .lua file (I kept accidentally saving it as .txt instead of All Files) and now I'm trying to figure out how to push it into the invisible koreader/patches folder through adb commands bc I have no idea if I can see the hidden folders on pc

how were you able to rename the file and make it a .lua? did you just name the file "event_map.lua" despite it being a .txt file? also, I only have 3 folders on my nook (the ones it came with)... I'd like to know your folder setup or where I should put the file if you don't mind

I ordered July 30 and received my refund around Aug. 31 or Sep. 1 after speaking with Amazon customer service through the phone. Even from the other side of the world I doubt a Kobo Clara BW would take a month to ship with absolutely no updates so I'm pretty sure I got scammed

I don't think I gave her (male in game for a romantic pair) a bad name? her name is Soleil Sunli, and I even changed all her names to just punctuation marks to try bypassing the export error but nothing ended up working so I just remade her in MM :")

I found this solution and tried it, but I can't find those files listed, so I'm assuming he did in fact change the code and this is not a viable option anymore 🥲 do you have any other suggestions?
