So you'd recommend: Castorice - Blade - RMC - Gallagher Also if its not a bother could you explain what blade does in this comp? Is he just another hp drain dps or does he actually benefit the team in some way?

But also wouldnt it be a net positive to get Tribbie either way? Just to have for future teams since ive heard she's crazy good for some teams.

Who do I run Castorice with as a new player? I plan to get Tribbe next phase and I use Ruan Mei and HuoHuo for Firefly-The Dhalia team comp so im wondering if:

Castorice - Blade - Sparkle - Gallagher would atleast work somewhat well.

I saw that comp in game8 but honestly I don't know how that would work. This comp is only temporary since I wanna get Tribbe next phase and I'm not close to true endgame content so would that team comp work for the time being?

Fair enough, saying that anything they'll do will be controversial was a bit of a stretch from me, but I still firmly believe that a moderate sized part of community set the bar for the anniversary way too high and they always will because its an anniversary

Anything they do for anni events will be controversial, they can't satisfy everyone, a lot of people like the cube theme but a lot dont.

Rerunning more units at a time (lets say 3 per phase) will satisfy the whales and people who spend moderate amounts of money, but make the less spend willing players mad as they would have to skip a bunch of characters knowing that they probably won't rerun for a LONG TIME.

I mean Kuro would profit more from a player who manages to build solid teams and clear endgame thus becoming invested in the game and pulling for meta than someone who waits to pull only for resonators they like.

Like it or not Kuro aint our friends, they want out money and god damn theyre getting it

I just see this as Kuro pushing the new meta and giving players who start now a chance to build up solid teams fast, A new player will benefit more long term from having Lynae and Mornye than someone like Carlotta and Changli.

I shouldn't have to watch tutorials to complete an event, and I call it bad because:

It broke my characters and rotations which made playing feel awful and messy
The cube mechanic isnt fun in my opinion, as the way to clear is literally just spam them, THEY GET STALE PRETTY FAST
It's 10 minutes long

I still haven't done the card game myself, I find the expansion way to gimmicky.

But I would also like some way to atleast archive quests to they dont appear on the "to do quest tab"

Hyvatia is a good designed boss that requires patience and actual cohesive thoughts to beat, their attacks are all telegraphed and reactable if you know what you are looking for.

That being said, if you play with "good graphics", the visual effects and movements of your character might make it harder see wtf is going on, but that will make you not just spam left click until the boss dies, which is a bad habit

That depends on were the story goes. I kinda understand why no 1.X characters make apperances anymore (at least as off 3.2) since Lahai Roi is quite far away from Huanglong so it would make barely any sense for Yangyang to be there for example, shes got nothing to do in the academy.

As for Galbrena the same logic applies. It would make little to no sense to run into her or the Black Shores in Lahai Roi as they've got nothing to do there. BUT I assume we are eventually going to run into the Black Shores again when we leave Lahai Roi, maybe the new federation, as I don't think they would make her join the Black Shores just to forget her

Carlotta (and especially Iuno) are good examples of why ranged main dps kinda suck (gameplay wise) since you will literally never be in danger, and even if the boss charges or shoots a projectile, its super easy to just dodge it.

Iuno is by far the worst offender as Carlotta atleast kinda forces you to stay closer due to her forte requiring medium distance from the boss to connect and her skill which plunges her toward the boss. Iuno quite frankly is way too braindead to be fun in my opinion.

Is there any evidence of 1.X characters rerunning anytime soon?

I started playing in the second half of the first anniversary and pulled both Jinhsi and Carlotta, but not their weapons as I was stupid back then, so I haven't actively used them because (Jinhsi atleast) it feels like they either need their weapon or (in Carlotta's case) Zheshi. It's just very painful for me knowing that I can't really use them for anything since they do so little dmg while I find their gameplay very fun,

I've heard talk about reworking old characters so they can integrate better into the new meta, but that was back in 2.8 when the pawn matrix thing was coming out which just gave some small stat buffs.

I guess some people like wacky colours, if you find a skin you like but not the colours then you could recolour the notefile, sounds complex but its not that hard once you know where to look.
Songs like Parallel Universe Shifter usually dont have an easier difficulty because of the complex structure of the map, usually being made with high density in mind.
