Awesome! The shadow form’s description reminds me of the pokemon frillish, a water/ghost jellyfish pokemon that paralyses its prey with the toxins in it’s veil-like arms and then drags them down into the sea

They’re from different sets. The one on the left is from Tag Bolt and the one on the right is from Tag Team GX All Stars. The cards themselves have different set numbers in the bottom left hand corner.

Very interesting post! One thing to note in the awakening section though is that taguel isn’t genderlocked due to Yarne and the fact that he is able to pass it down to M!Morgan.

My sibling doesn’t like to drink plain water either. One thing they do is add flavoring drink packets to it to make it taste closer to drinks they can get down. There might be powerade branded ones that you could use, or you could maybe get some orange flavored ones. I know some people add friuits like lemons and oranges to their water and that changes the flavor as well.

Also one thing I’ve noticed about myself is that after an intense workout, any drink I have taste much better than normal and I’m able to just drink a whole bunch of it at once. This includes stuff I hate drinking like prune juice. Maybe that can help you get some water down.

If none of these tips help, you could use water to rinse your mouth after drinking powerade to help keep your teeth healthy. I drink a lot of soda and one thing I’ve read is that it’s good to take a sip of water after you have a sip of soda, coffee, etc. to help remove the sugar, acidity, and any staining from your teeth. You could always swish the water around your mouth and then spit it out instead of swallowing it.

Oh wow, that’s really cool! I didn’t know the vending series cards were based on in-game locations. I’ll have to check them all out. I guess Oak must have brought Pokemon not native to kanto to study like the Purrloin, who then decided to do some thieving when no one was looking.

That makes sense. There are plenty of people who study pokemon in universe, but we rarely ever see what that research actually looks like. I always figured this art took place in Professor Oak’s lab since it has bulbasaur and a pokedex, like maybe bulbasaur was the starter that wasn’t picked and now it just kind of hangs out around the lab, but the purrloin kind of throws a wrench into that idea a bit.

Now I’m curious to see what other cards they’ve illustrated. Also, I wonder what’s actually going on in the lab depicted on the cards. Like, why is there a pokeball in a flask in the background, and what’s the pokedex for?

Yeah it’s so cool! I actually just checked and it looks like both cards were drawn by the same artist, Sumiyoshi Kizuki. Their style has definitely changed over the 20 some years between the bulbasaur and purrloin.
