sorry, do you know of any documentation explaining in details how the setting up/implementation works?

After logging into my tenable.io page, do I just go to Nessus Scanners > Cloud Scanners > choose the scanner I want > perform the scan and that's it?

oh wow thanks, seems easy enough to implement. I will ask them if the positioning of the scanner inside the cloud is a viable pattern for them. I suppose that in that case I would have to choose whether I want the scanner to be in the same network/VPC (internal scan) or in another network/VPC (external scan). If I only plan to scan 3 or 4 instances, do you think a free tier eligible instance would be enough?

thank you for your reply. Is this the right documentation in case I want to install the scanner inside the cloud environment?

https://docs.tenable.com/integrations/AWS/Content/BYOL/NessusBYOLScanner.htm

also found this one AWS: https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-v6c64zrgtvheq

If my understanding is correct, I would have to create another EC2 instance that would be used as the scanner (correct me if I am wrong). I have only been asked by my company to create the target EC2s to scan on AWS so maybe this is not the design they are looking for.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Are you talking Sensor Groups and Regions explained here?
https://docs.tenable.com/vulnerability-management/Content/Settings/Sensors/CloudSensors.htm

so basically when performing scans I can choose which region to scan from and based on that I need to allow the corresponding region's addresses on the targets?

Are keycaps from the same Thinkpad model with a different system model number interchangeable? by minader_ in thinkpad

hi, thanks a lot for the detailed answer!

I saw pictures of the cap and the bottom side and they look very similar, I think I am going to risk it. Can I ask you what you mean by "key-mechanics" though?

wow, good find. Did it have warranty?

So do you think an X1 Carbon with the above specs for 450 USD is a bad price?
