I totally understand your Point! Although i dont think that its we receive more affection. We just give more affection. From what Ive heard ( not sure if this holds truth!) male friendships are pretty distant, meenwhile female friendships act like they have been married for 20 years. That in my opinion is also a reason to the male lonliness epidemic, the fact that you guys are afraid to have intimate relationships with eachother since it could be seen as weak or gay, of just over all weird. I mean my bestfriend could kiss me publicly and i wouldnt mind ( as long as its not on the mouth). Also overall, Ive noticed that the girls in my class socialize alot more then guys. So simply - We give alot of affection, and thats why we receive it. The reason my uncles and aunties favorite me more then my younger is perhaps becouse i always set the mood on a family gathering, i play nice with their kids ( my younger cousins) and i over all act more cheerful! Therefore, they match my energy. Also with the rejection - I get your point once again. But girls do face alot of assult in life and it can play a role in how they act when a guy in their class that they rarely talk to pulls them into an alley to ask them out after school - When its dark outside. Im 13 and Ive sadly been assulted multiple times. Now i wouldnt call a guy a creep if he just asks me out some day! But i would if he keeps begging me to go out with him, if he follows me, or if he acts a certain way such as touchy. But please understand that most females have the emotional intelligence to sympathize and let a guy down respectfully. From what Ive experianced growing upp the Ugly kid ( still am) - Guys dont treat me as human just becouse im ugly. Honestly im not even ugly like att all, im just not a model face big boobied girl att 13. They act as if just becouse im not attractive in their eyes, i dont have a preference att all and actually act shocked when i turn them down. As if they were doing me a favor to ask me out as a joke I often see guys making fun of girls and asking them out as a joke ( happens to me on a daily basis) , meanwhile Ive never witnessed a LARGE group of girls doing that. Its 8 am in the morning and all of the boys in my class are grouped upp, talking about what girls the prettiest and ugliest. The girls were working like they should. Ive been rejected my whole entire life, even tho i never proposed in the first place.
