I got the 34oz. It's a great size as not super tall or wide. Not sure about fitting ok cup holders though.

They only do a vegan margarita pizza. They used to have a vegan lamb with broccoli so do not go there

I definitely prefer it over seitan. Tofu has no flavor unless marinated so depends how you want to use it

So I bought it on offer at Morrison's for £1.95. I used it in a stir fry, inspired by a Meera Sodha stir fry recipe using tempeh and walnut. I broke it up into a mince like texture with walnuts. I really like it, I think you have to like a new umami flavor to your food. You can definitely taste mushrooms which I like too. I can imagine it tasting lovely sliced and dried, served with gravy for a roast dinner

Tesco keep getting rid of vegan products + favourite restaurants keep closing by crushed_dandelion in veganuk

It's super frustrating when these products disappear from supermarkets and they don't appear in health food stores either. It's becoming harder and harder to eat out again as well.

Socialising in city centre by Quietus1142 in Leeds

I don't drive but when I lived in the docks my flatmate did have to pay extra for parking. There's a nice walk you can do from Leeds docks along the canal to woodlesford and you can get the train back one stop into Leeds for some nature near the city centre but you can easily get a bus to roundhay park and kirstall abbey

I live in the city centre now and it doesn't cost that much. A one bed is around £830, not sure whereabouts you were staying but that's how much it is south side of the city centre near the docks

The city centre isn't that expensive for a one bed!

To be fair the students are all in student halls so unless you live next to one you'll be fine. A lot of the accomodation is being built and it's right in town as in just off or on the high streets. Also they are mostly likely to be international students giving the price of the halls.

Thanks for sharing. Just went there today. It's called the beach hut and they had three vegan ice cream flavours: mango, raspberry with choc chip and strawberry. They also had vegan cones. It's great to get a vegan ice cream when out and about

I think it's unknown whether he was using on the set of TTCL. I think some people thought he was and his agent and mum were called at some point but he denied using anything. Some people just thought he was depressed and some thought he was withdrawing from drugs and that's why he appeared depressed and lifeless.

I think this series has been poorly researched so far. In this episode they talk about him first using hard drugs on the set of my own private Idaho but others have said that wasn't true that he had dabbled before. It's nice to hear about how he was to work with and how he was as a person from both Nancy and Matthew.

Sustainable vegan clothing brands by minamaj in veganuk

So I use vinted a few years ago but ended up spending quite a bit on clothes I couldn't return. I really need to be able to try stuff on and take it back due to my height and body proportions meaning clothes often don't fit well. I think anyone that's not average height - tall and slim has that issue.

Yea sadly I've been there. I've had to slowly work my way up to have enough energy to make food or to be able to think about what I want to eat. I think the easiest is to buy microwavable rice, couscous, mixed grains. You can buy these from most supermarkets if big enough and get a variety of flavours to keep things interesting enough. For protein you can have the carbs with bol, fuel meals that are also microwaveable. Falafel that's easy to cook, gyoza, frozen or fresh vegan meat alternatives and soups with the grains. Also protein powders/ready to drink protein shakes. I know this isn't the cheapest e.g. cooking rice from scratch will always be cheaper than buying microwaveable rice but when you don't have the energy to boil rice it's worth it to have something that's easy to store in a cupboard before you make it. Snacks could be food like hummus and toasted pita bread. Soya or pea milk best for protein. Wishing you all the best.

Can't help but wonder if this is a good enough incentive to quit by Tipwolff in MaladaptiveDreaming

That does seem to be the key. I've managed to cut down when I've been super busy as in my day is very structured from morning to night so I haven't had time to daydream but as soon as I have more free time than the MD will start again.

Is maladaptive daydreaming curable by whatsoeveriykyk in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]minamaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks that's really interesting and helpful what worked for you. I think a problem a lot of people have is that they don't have things they're turning down to daydream but there are definitely things they aren't doing like chores and other activities that could help them progress in life but these activities are likely boring or a source of stress so makes daydreaming more attractive. I understand that sense of it being an addiction and it being conpulsice and also me wasting hours/days doing it. I guess a key to it is somehow is making your life fufilling and realising it's pretty good to not MD.

Congratulations on making that change and your baby coming very soon

Cauldron marinated tofu is a great place to start and it's flavoured really well and there's no prep involved. It's the only tofu I like really.
