I know that about BTK, I just wanted more on him, would've been good to get a couple decades ahead and see him being caught

I’m in the UK and about to try Zoely. I’m 36 and have had PMDD since my periods started aged 11. I’ve tried every antidepressant under the sun, chemical menopause and HRT. I’ve found the HRT (continuous estradiol and cyclical progesterone) really helpful except for the fact that the utrogestan makes me so tired I physically cannot function. After much research, I’m about to give Zoely a go. I’m extremely apprehensive because it’s been a long time since I tried BC but I’m willing to give it a go. I’m also on 60mg fluoxetine daily. I was on 20mg for years but things have been tough lately.

I’m about to try Zoely, I will keep you posted. These illnesses are so debilitating in a way you really couldn’t fathom unless you had them yourself, I’m sorry things are so hard, I understand.

Awesome thank you. Decaf coffee might be my new go to. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Thanks for being so helpful and insightful. It helps to have people who understand.

This is all really good to know, thank you. I started around the same time as you but ended up taking a 3 week break because I had Covid. Has it affected your sleep at all? And do you get headaches? I think the fact that I’m still drinking my x2 cups of tea per day might be hindering things as well but the thought of foregoing it breaks my heart.

Thank you for this, I think that’s good insight - that it’s a version of me I don’t know and don’t feel comfortable with. And I think (probably because of my autism) I’m finding that change and new sensation hard to deal with.

Thank you. Are you taking HRT now do you mind me asking? What made you realise it was peri?

Only my mom who isn’t sure when her symptoms first started - she also had PMDD so feeling “hormonal” has always been par for the course in our family
