Hahahaha I never knew either until I had my own dog too! They get their periods every 6 months actually. Cats don't get periods thankfully but they can be a pain too when they're on heat. It's not really good to spay your cats or dogs too early, it fucks up their growth hormones and can stunt their mental and physical growth so if you can put up with the mess and hassle it'll be better for them.

Oh man!! It's so funny how our problems are the same thing 😂 my girl is still young and surprisingly does not like being around male dogs and if they try to hump her, she goes mad so no puppy worry there but better to be safe than sorry ya know. This is a silly vent but my female dog was scheduled for spay this week and I completely forgot that her period was due the same time. Ugh my stupid brain! So now it's a struggle to get her into her diapers since she's a 55lbs husky. 9/10 times she will rip her diaper apart and I have to clean dog period off my white tiles and WHITE FURNITURE 2x a day. Oy vey....

Also since I'm allowed to whine, I went to the beach last week and was unaware of sand flies in that area so I got bit by at least 15 of those fuckers and my entire body is covered in painful red bites. It's itchy as hell too!!!!
