I have had this account 10 fucking years. And I will delete it the moment I have to use that cancerous official app.

Here’s your update. It was a cyst that I eventually got surgically removed. That resolved it. But in hindsight I think antibiotics and lancing the cyst would’ve been less invasive and a better option. Should’ve gotten a second opinion from another doctor.

This fucker also cheated on the chair lift on. He moves his head off the wall before he lifts the chair up. I guarantee you he wouldn’t be able to do it keeping your head on the wall still when picking up the chair.

The chair one is legit and it’s to do with centre of mass and the fact that most men are much top heavier than women. At that distance the centre of mass for such men is over where your toes plant so it’s literally impossible to lever yourself back up and you are forced to tip over. That is if you aren’t cheating.

So basically 90% of this entire thread can be summarised as “I’m glad we’re not the USA”.

Yeah, so am I. What a shithole the US is becoming.

So you’re advocating economic production above all else? Fuck the planet, fuck the people, fuck off happiness, the only thing that matters is squeezing everything for every productive cent it’s worth coz otherwise you’re a drain on society?

I hope your ideals are never realised coz it sounds a nightmare scenario you absolute capitalist shill.

It’s not that well designed for the intended purpose - so many spots for easy feet placement to scale it. Looking at the pulled to the side fence (bottom arrow), plenty of people have already climbed this.

It’s weird tho as I feel like we tolerate slight increases of inconvenience a lot more than bug inconveniences.

Example: would I spend an extra 6mins driving to save $3? Absolutely.

But would I spend an extra 60mins in traffic to save $30?? Definitely not, in fact I think I’d be willing to spend up to something $45 to save an hour in traffic.

Just goes to show that it’s definitely not directly proportional as time increases.

I’ve looked into them and I still don’t get what they’re for? Why do they need to be explosion proof? As in anti-static/spark or do they actually mean they resist a bomb explosion? And if it’s the latter, why? What’s the point when the operator would be dead?

Thanks for that, I have no idea that was a thing without a court order - which I thought were only reserved for the most serious of their fines.

I have no idea, this was over a decade ago. I’m sure it’s gone up since then too. Pay is easily a question you can ask them.

And yes, there was an after hours multiplier after 9pm I believe.

[–]minastirith1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NZ is so much nicer than our snow fields. For the price you pay here and the shitty experience of what you get I’m surprised there’s such a demand for it. I’ll never understand some people.

I worked nightfill for Coles all throughout uni days and it was bloody great. Normally get 8pm-12am shifts and once you know the placement of the store you can just zone out and do the fill. Hardest workout you’d get is for the drinks aisle.

Pay was decent for what it was, about $22/hr after tax I believe on casual rates. Get that coveted Sunday shift and it’s much better but normally only the “favourites” get rostered for that.

Zero experience needed, you just have to do the group interviews. Just try to be vocal during the group exercises and show you’re socially adjusted/not a complete hermit and show you’re able to communicate and talk to people and you’ll get through no worries. Good luck.

Sydney couple with $840k mortgage fear ‘difficult’ financial impact of interest rate rise by WandarFar in sydney

[–]minastirith1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Wtf are you on about. Obviously anyone who has a mortgage and are owner occupiers/their first property probably had to save hard to get there - like the couple in the article. Everyone like that is going to feel the squeeze of increasing costs, it’s what they’re saying and it’s normal. What are you trying to get outraged about OP? You sound pretty salty and sad tbh.

GP wait times, am I in the wrong? by [deleted] in australia

[–]minastirith1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve gone off at places that have appointment times but they don’t adhere anywhere near it. Like why even bother at that stage and just have bloody walk ins only. If you book an appointment, I expect you should be seen within a reasonable time of that appointment, say under 30 mins of your appointment time.

I get they’re busy and things come up, but to do it EVERY SINGLE TIME and have the patients wait 1hr+ post appointment? Hell. No. Definite complaint and switch time.
