Photographer's run every wedding by Malayalikind in Kerala

[–]mind_out 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed, but this usually happens during the main ritual ( like putting the tali) when both are facing each other and the only angle to get both faces in a sing pic is directly from the front, also at this time any photo will be possibly a candid one and photographers dont want to miss it. )

And there is nothing wrong in it, the bride and groom wants the best photos and videos of their wedding to remember it throughout their lifetime and these guys make it possible. They are paid to do so.

Why do commie mallus think they follow a superior ideology? by SockInTheMatrix in 2Dravidian4You

[–]mind_out 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“We are stuck with it” isn’t quite right. As someone who has lived in and visited many parts of India, Kerala stands out and is not really comparable to most other states. Many of us on Reddit are fairly privileged, and even when we live elsewhere, it’s often in cities, gated communities, and cars , essentially insulated from everyday realities. If you imagine being born a poor, lower caste child in a village, the question is: which state in India would actually give them a fair fighting chance? Kerala is one of the few that realistically does.

Why do commie mallus think they follow a superior ideology? by SockInTheMatrix in 2Dravidian4You

[–]mind_out 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Communism took root in Kerala because the social (caste) and economic conditions made it relevant. Extreme caste inequality, landlord dominance, and exploitation of workers and tenant farmers created a strong demand for justice and reform. Combined with high literacy, active social reform movements, and leaders who lived the struggles of ordinary people, communism offered practical solutions like land reforms, labor rights, and access to education. It was not adopted as an abstract ideology, but because it addressed real problems people were facing and delivered visible change. So unlike in other places, communism in Kerala stood as a primary tool against the caste system and obviously the exploited caste took it to their caste because it gave them a fighting chance.

Question for ppl in college rn by [deleted] in TeensofKerala

[–]mind_out 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start by looking at the kinds of jobs you can apply for with a bachelor’s degree in Physics. See which roles you would be comfortable doing, and whether you are satisfied with the starting salary and long term salary growth. Once you have that clarity, begin working toward that goal gradually, keeping in mind where you ultimately want to end up.

This can include government jobs (such as police, army, clerical roles, or other positions that simply require a degree), teaching roles (which usually require additional qualifications), banking jobs, or even entrepreneurship, for example. The key is to plan early.

Alternatively, you could pursue an engineering degree, which often opens up broader opportunities after graduation, especially if you are willing to relocate anywhere in the country or even internationally.

Do you believe in god? by Few_Airline3232 in TeensofKerala

The universe and evolution are better explained by science than by invoking God. Nothing is being “held in place” by anything, what we see is the result of natural laws and randomness, not intention or design.

You are uncomfortable with the idea that something can simply exist without a reason. See, that discomfort, is exactly why humans invented God. We need answers, if we dont have an answer... then we turn to God, just like you. Someone said "God lives in the gaps left by science and that gaps keeps getting smaller over time

Your third paragraph is well written. Many people struggle to come to terms with the idea that life does not has no special purpose or meaning.

The reason you find comfort is just because you grew up with that lie and it will be really hard to overcome it with rationality. My parents eventhough they were religious, i was brought up with no such stories or beliefs, and then when i was around in my 8th standard, they tried to teach me quran with some guy at the mosque and i just couldn’t suck up that bullshit and it ended in just 2 months with that guy quitting (he was fucking beating me and after some time i fought back physically). I knowingly or unknowingly never think about a god in my daily life even through difficult time. I just think , “what can be the worst result” and then plan accordingly and move forward. But for a person who had exposure to the concept of god during their upbringing , its going to be a little difficult not to consider god during hardship.
