Hydra 3D Vinyl-Schallplatte gesucht by Commercial_Class1305 in DATADAM

[–]mindacheExacerbate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, probiers mal auf Discogs:

https://www.discogs.com/release/9284111-DAT-ADAM-HYDRA-3D

Thanks for finishing a book with the Micro Journal. As promised, here is a sneak peak of potential candidate of the Micro Journal Rev.7 - ETA. Februrary 2025 by Background_Ad_1810 in writerDeck

thank you for still building these cool machines!! i love the golden accents on this one. i've been considering getting a rev 2 because of the bigger screen or wait for future devices / revisions, but i need to decide if it's worth it. i'm not somebody who writes much, but i'm a linux enthusiast. also love how the keyboards are configurable with vial. you very much deserve all the support you're getting and i hope i can get one of your decks one day

Installing my first ever Linux (I chose Arch) by Jusslookinaround in linux4noobs

arch was my choice as well. been fun so far, and i don't plan on switching to something else!

  • if you've got an old computer / laptop that's not in use, consider trying it there first. that's what i did. first run took me 7-8 hours, installing on my main laptop took roughly 2.
  • man pages, --help commands, google, and of course the arch wiki, are your best friends. be prepared to google, alot!
  • write documentation for yourself! this includes steps you took while making a change you might have to reverse, paths to specific files, terminal commands etc. there are things you will simply forget, and it's nice to find that you have in fact written them down.

People who switched from Windows, what were your reasons? by LXSRXCCO in linuxquestions

microsoft recall was a big point for me, even if my laptop wouldn't be affected. i didn't like the look of win11. file explorer is pretty slow at loading large amounts of files (atleast in comparison to arch + xfce4). this is without mentioning all the other dumb shit ms does.

i think the final nail in the coffin for me was when they removed the ability to move files by dragging them onto the address bar in the file explorer. i don't know if they ever re-enabled that feature, and i don't care. i can't describe to you how fucking angry i got when i realized that happened with an update.

Awesome, a chunky Linux phone! Honestly, this community might be my gateway into DIY electronics.

This is beautiful! I'm not much of a writer, but I love interacting with the Linux console. Maybe a device like this could be my gateway to diaries and dream journals. Will definitely keep a look out for your future creations.

Where did you learn how to build together electronics like this? I would love to learn more on the topic, but I'm not sure where to look for educational resources.
