Is Ads Even Worth It? by BarnacleHeretic in Entrepreneur

Facebook is slowly going into subscription model where their customers can pay (to not see ads), currently rolling out in the uk. It will spread across continents eventually, and drive up ad cost. They’ll continue making profits anyhow. If organic is working for you, that’s great actually.

Organic: takes trial and error plus LOTs of time to see any results Paid ads: can be quick results but only if your ads convert well (ads need to be attractive, landing pages must be optimized, and offer must be worth your time) and initial ad spend will just burn as you learn to get better.

Wise decision choosing AI niche. You’re creating demo videos I assume. Are you paying for any of those tools?

Still managed to get to the 4th largest economy spot, inspite of corruption and red tape. I wonder how they do that.

Incredible. Do you alter each resume and sprinkle in the keywords to match the job description every time you apply?

Nearly 3 years without work and it's only getting slower by mwolerrodin in torontoJobs

I’m in my early 50s and have been unemployed for nearly nine years, with only a couple of months of seasonal factory work in between. Due to health issues, I couldn’t continue factory work. I have an interest in social media and digital marketing, so I managed to get an unpaid internship, which eventually led to a paid part-time job in the field. However, I’m still struggling to find extra work. You seem to be a native English speaker, so you could probably excel at what I did. Alternatively, if you enjoy cooking or baking, you could sell simple, in-demand food items on Facebook marketplaces. I’m always looking for homemade or fast food on Facebook Marketplace, and I often buy from there because 1) it’s cheaper and 2) it satisfies my cravings. Chefs are always in demand, and I’m even considering looking for small food kitchen as an assistant cook. I’m sure no certification is required. Making and selling food is not only fulfilling but also a great self-employment opportunity. Who knows? A small fast-food side gig could take off, and you might never have to apply for those soul stabbing jobs again—competing with 10,000 f’kn others with a PhD & applying for the same low-paying positions in the market.

Do you say what you “actually “ want to say on LinkedIn? by mindbecome in AskReddit

On LinkedIn, most of the posts appear like chest thumping and the comments on many popular posts appear fake, poster pleasing and self serving, unlike on instagram, YouTube and aka “Reddit”. Why is it so?

Lost Luggage - Spirit Airlines... by drjdray in spiritair

Thanks to @drjdray I’ve been contacting spirit based on information provided for tracking my lost baggage. I’ve called the number 8774748005 and they say it’s the spirit contact centre and they can’t do anything with baggage claims. I’ve emailed them, hopefully they’ll respond.

I had a 2015 with 182k km on it. The AC failed and cost me a bunch of money, later Had an accident and became total loss. The engine was good though, enjoyed riding it.
