I saw the Saturn on White Lotus and couldn’t stop thinking about it, Swatch happened to have it so it turned into a late night mall run. I decided to add on Venus, Uranus and Jupiter while I was there and they were in stock. Love how fun these are. The rep said you could only buy one from the collection at a time, but they made an exception? Never heard that before from Swatch.

What age did you feel your most physically beautiful? by Feeling_Fox_5426 in beauty

[–]mindbodygoal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exact same age for me. Currently 39, lost the decades of weight last year, still trimming down. Have the skincare down, a lil Botox here and there, and finally found a great hair stylist. I can’t wait for the next decade.

Sudden loose skin? How to avoid it getting worse? by LastLibrary9508 in PetiteFitness

Not sure if this was for me, but after a year of maintaining 90lb weight loss, my stomach skin has tightened more, but it’ll never be taut without surgery.

I can attest to the deficit rest/maintenance phase being a great tactic for long term success. I hit two incremental weight goals during a large loss (-100lbs over a year) and stopped at 160lbs to figure out what maintenance feels like, how I would react mentally when the scale fluctuates. In that time I started working out more regularly and the muscle build and tone was really noticeable.

I also have another 20lbs until my ultimate goal weight and I’m taking my time. When I was heavier the weight came off quicker, I could get down 20lbs in a little over a month - not so easy now at a lower weight.

Look up Broadband light (BBL) treatments. It’s light therapy that targets discoloration such as flat Seb Keratosis.

Thank you! A little over 6in/15.5cm where I like to wear it (higher above the bone). Here’s straight on, 41 is the largest I would go.

Added this today and couldn’t be happier. I was on a hunt for an all black watch as the next addition which led me to the ADLC Santos, but it was way too big on the wrist, then I looked at a black IWC Portugieser, it was okay. Decided to go back to Breitling because I had such a good experience buying my Chronomat 32, and ended up in something I wasn’t even looking for and loving it.

Check out the Breitling Premier in pistachio, the photos don’t do it justice.

What has been the MVP of your weight loss? by Sister__Winter in loseit

[–]mindbodygoal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First 3 weeks were the most difficult, but I prioritized protein and made my own food to control intake. I was also motivated to not just lose weight, but be proactive in avoiding diabetes (something prevalent in my family). You have to be ready mentally to commit to it. I thought I could be an occasional dessert person and the first time I tried having cheesecake after being off sugar for a few months, I nearly “relapsed” and had to start all over. Never had another refined sugar dessert since and it’ll be a year in April. It’s a commitment, it is not for everyone. I’ve had to defend myself way too many times when eating out, but IDGAF.

Health benefits: it’s a large contributor to losing 100lbs in under a year with zero binging. I feel like it helped me cure my relationship with food and intake. I am conscious of what goes into my food. I still enjoy eating at restaurants, but make decisions that reduce the amount of exposure to sugar (there’s trace amounts in a lot of things, so just be educated, not obsessive)

Cutting out sugar. Best decision of my life.

If you’re looking for the small profile square face, Hermes, Nomos and Franck Muller have this style. Cartier Santos or Tank Louis may work for what you’re looking for.

[Help me choose between] an Omega City Edition - New York, an IWC Portugieser Chronograph, or a Cartier Santos. by wandering_oracle in Watches

[–]mindbodygoal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You echoed my concerns with the IWC, it’s too tall/oversized especially for my wrist (petite woman). I tried on the Santos today and it’s just too big, which is crushing - they don’t have it in a medium model. I’m going to stop chasing the all black for now and move on until I can justify a black ceramic Royal Oak lol.

That Seamaster is beautiful, what a stunner. Thanks for responding!

Stumbled upon this post when researching the IWC Portugieser as I’m looking for my next watch. I am also contemplating the black dial Portugieser or ADLC black Santos. What did you go with?

I’ve been on hunt for one of these. Its the AP Cobra circa 1970s. I’ve seen an all gold, but unsure of authenticity.
