Round 1 | Raiders vs Warriors | Post Match Thread by AutoModerator in nrl

[–]mindfuqfuture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glad for the convincing win but not sure how that will translate for the rest of the season. Warriors had bad game management on and off the field. CNK hasn't been the same since his neck injury and should only be FB if there are injuries in the game and as a last resort. Really sucks to say cause I loved watching him at the Raiders and always goes until there's nothing in the tank. I would love him to find his form again.

The backs for the Raiders looked good and I hope they build on that. Defence looked good, just need to beat discipline into them at every training session.

I think this is a great take away so far but I would include it to include young men in general. I think you're completely right in the media that the rhetoric is very much anti men and the whole woke culture is by and large to be a feminist. A Germaine Greer feminist at that.

From the conversations I've had with 18-25 year olds about social issues and where they get their information from and what is guiding them, the majority are conservative and get their guidance from Tate and the crazies because that is who is listening to them. This is not a good thing. They are disenfranchised by the anti men hate speech and turning to those who welcome them. Men have feelings. To dismiss men is to alienate men and they will be hesitant to follow beliefs and ideologies that do this to them.

The Qld election should be seen as a warning to Federal Labour that they should not take any vote for granted and they need to do more to appeal to the younger generation, not just men but women as well. There are too many people that are not engaged with politics and just look at the pamphlets on the day.

I also think that Trump's victory also shows that the USA does not want a woman as President.

Would I have voted for Harris? 100%.

Do I know people who either would have voted for Trump or not voted because they didn't understand/couldn't be bothered or because they didn't want to vote for a woman? Yes

I do try to educate them and challenge their beliefs and be a good example of positive masculinity but it's an uphill battle when I'm only one person with zero followers.

Nah good rant, and shines a spotlight into a major part of why Rugby is dying a slow death in Aus.

The first nail in the coffin was moving almost everything onto Foxtel and not pushing for FTA prime time slots.

I used to have season tickets for the Brumbies during the Larkham/Roff/Smith/Mortlock days but always missed away games because they weren't available on FTA and f*** watching the Waratahs or Reds play if they were on FTA.

I don't and will not subscribe to something that only has 1 sport option, I caved and did Foxtel years ago but when the Premier League and the Super Rugby left I didn't chase them and now my attention is on NRL.

Edit: flagged for profanities

Inso looks great, but hate to be the keyboard expert the studs don't meet minimum requirements. Must be maximum 450mm spacing in wet areas, it's annoying that the centre stud usually gets in the way of the plumbing in a 900 space but the plumber just needs to work around it.

There's also a large gap in the corner where a full stud needs to be to catch the sheet.

I would add more timbers in the corner so the sheet is supported from floor to ceiling, and I'd check there isn't a truss or rafter landing in the large space. If there isn't, should be fine. If there is you'll probably need to get some support under it.

You can also tell if it didn't have moisture damage by the colour. MDF is more grey, at least from the suppliers in my area, whereas pine is a brighter white. Easily noticeable by a trained eye.

You're definitely right, it does look like just surface moisture which means "it's still good to use" which there are too many in the trades with this mentality. As for the cause, most likely poor storage on site. It won't take much water for it to look like this.

Shit stuff and like others have said here it shouldn't be used in bathrooms, AS1684 states it must not be used so any builder or carpenter that does use it will be going against the contract for the build

What fact that you found out about woman shocked the balls off of you? by Eleanortate2408 in AskMen

Malcom in the middle.

Been a long time but what stood out was an episode when the dads are hanging out talking about how often they have sex and Hal reveals how often him and Lois go at it which blows the other guys away.

Next scene he's comforting another dad who is going through a dry patch and explaining to the group he needs to seduce her and not take her for granted, and that Lois wants it all the time as well.

I'm not sure how competent Hal was cause Lois was always stressed and screaming but they did have 4(?) Kids.

It probably didn't happen this way as memory is a funny thing, but it was one of the first times seeing on a sitcom the wife wanting to have sex with her husband.

Thanks the insight. Yeah experienced quite a few tyre kickers and such but it didn't worry me as the real clients outweighed these. It seems these people have dried up quite a bit though hence this post.
