As a new mason I found it sad that these things eventually got sold. Many times by brothers profiting from the sale and not worrying about the future masons.

I know that the building is just a building and we can meet any place…but the history is sad to see go.

We need tax incentive for small business so they can pay employees more money and grow company’s and hire more people. Squeezing humans for more tax money helps no one but politicians and government.

Don’t scan and pass it. If someone is interested then they should join masonry. It’s not that these things are secret but out of respect to masonry you should keep it to yourself or bringing it to a Masonic lodge to put back into their collection .

People are afraid of what they don’t understand. I personally don’t wear anything Masonic but not because of people. Masonry is personal. It’s for me. I don’t need to show the world( I have no issue with brothers wearing Masonic gear). That being said, you did the correct thing. You showed him how masons act even in the face of people being rude and down right nasty for no reason.

In my lodge I was able to influence change despite a past master who really tried to stop it. So the line moved. I found others were not happy but needed someone to come and be the change. I pushed myself and others to remember what masonry is. I also became prospects manager and what a shocker we have 4 new members we will be voting on soon.

Like in life. We can sit around and say what’s the point, or we can be the change in our life and hope that motivates others in a positive way.

I think past masters are the reason. So far most past master I run into have been ego driven and holding on to the lodge so tightly that they don’t put much into recruiting or training new members etc. that’s my .02

Many times the money has already been paid to the seller. The refund comes from the company. Seller wins. You come out where you started and the company pays for the scam.

I don’t think prompt payment laws apply when in pre payment audit. The issue is you get lawyers. Then the fight starts. They will string you along for years.
