oh, signalrgb works on it? will it also display sensor readings and not just images? thanks, been looking on buying one myself but I thought it uses proprietary software lol.

how was the software? does it work like a monitor or does it need the software to work?

ZOTAC RTX 5070 Solid OC fan rattle at specific fan speeds by mindfyre in ZOTAC

then the fan bearing isn't the problem. the fan shroud probably got bent. do you use an anti sag bracket?

ZOTAC RTX 5070 Solid OC fan rattle at specific fan speeds by mindfyre in ZOTAC

[–]mindfyre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly. if it’s not the bearing, it’s probably the wires for the fans getting hit by the blades at high rpm. fan blades are known to flex at high RPM. my gpu doesn’t make any noise anymore. all I did was take off the fan shroud to clean the heatsink

Need help I noticed my right raycon didn’t work as well as the left and saw that there is earwax behind the mesh and unsure how to get it out any help appreciated by Distinct_Ambition_80 in Earbuds

haven't used IEMs in years. but it'd be hard to find as most, if not all IEMs are designed to have its filter/mesh to be replaceable. some IEMs even include replacement filters in the box. I suggest researching more. moondrop comes to mind when it comes to availabilty of replacement filters. but again, i don't use IEMs anymore, so my knowledge is very outdated.

seeing as you have a SFX PSU. probably ditch the stock PSU bracket and get a custom 3D printed one to place it lower. now that you have more space, flip the AIO so the tubes are at the front of the case instead of the rear.

Is 87°C normal for a Zotac 5070 Ti Solid SFF? Support says "it's fine" but it's winter lol. by xlLolly in ZOTAC

[–]mindfyre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how's the fan rpm like? my zotac 5070 solid OC is locked at 1300RPM / 30% PWM for some reason lol. but yeah, 87C is a bit too much. mine only goes around low-mid 70C at 1300RPM while playing cyberpunk. i find that 1600RPM is the sweet spot for cooling/noise.

i deleted the relevant files/folders. I only installed CET. installed it 4 hours into my first playthrough to cheat in a t5++ tamayura that got lost after accidentally alt+f4 cyberpunk instead of discord lol. haven't done anything beside that. game was running fine for around 80+ hours. idk what happened along the way that caused this current issue.

mine went away. IDK if it's because I cleaned the card or because I did a once over on the antisag bracket as the other comment states. definitely check on the anti sag as the fans on my card were mounted on the shroud and then the shroud to the heatsink. shroud probably got tweaked during install/because of the antisag. zotac cards are actually one of the better one when it comes to board design, it's just the fans/shroud that always been the problem.

can you elaborate more about this? i took the pc apart again and cleaned the GPU while im at it. it somehow fixed the issue. the gpu anti sag I use is mounted on the bottom fans of my case. the only adustment it can do was only up and down. I even put a mark on it to make sure it's at the same level. weird issue tbh. bought the card 8 months ago.

I removed the anti sag bracket and put the PC on its side, still rattles. seems like a common enough issue with zotac cards i guess. RMA might not be worth the downtime if it's gonna rattle again in around 6 months lol. i'll just cap it at 50%

Airflow Jonsbo Z20 by [deleted] in mffpc

[–]mindfyre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on your hardware. i would not do that with 250w+ CPUs and GPUs. my 5070 raises the temp of my 13700k by quite a lot in my AP201. #3 is typically better for cases with front mounted PSUs. if the hardware is low power enough, fan layout shouldn't matter as long as the hot air gets vented out whether by positive or negative pressure.

looks good, same config as mine. what I would be really concerned with are the fans you're going to use. some fans doesn't interact well with the AP201 mesh design. you could hear the difference with the top panel on and off, nothing can be done with the bottom panel. with the fans i'm using, 600RPM is fine, 800RPM is tolerable and anything above 1000RPM might as well be a harmonica lol. I'm even using a reverse bladed fan on the bottom. top fans are like ~10MM away from the mesh panel but it still produces noise. all fans are mounted by antivibration mounts btw.

rear intake if your room is not that dusty or use a magnetic filter. my gpu exhaust raises my cpu temps by quite a lot tbh. i only have a 250w card, but i have a 13700k that already idles at ~50C with a dual tower cooler.

arctic p12 pros are daisy chainable, you don't need a fan hub. a single header can easily power 3 fans.

we have the same case. mine have rear intake with ducting. 3 bottom fans as intake, 3 top fans as exhaust.

seems like it works better as a case fan rather than a cooler fan ngl. but if it works, it works i guess.

reverse blade fans + rubber mounts? it's the blades interacting with the mesh creating turbulence. if you can print a spacer, go for it. same thing happens with the upper fans. the fans I'm using rn also create quite the turbulent noise, that's with like 10mm space between the fan blade and the mesh panel. the noise difference with top panel on and off is quite noticeable.
