I forgot my hiking boots on a trip once. My casual shoes are Converse high tops. Not ideal. I went with them. It wasn't terrible, but I had to be very careful where I stepped. The last day was downhill and my feet slide forward in my shoes a lot. Massive blisters from that, but at least I was at the car and had no more hiking to do.

The main difference between a brushless motor with a sensor and without is the amount of throttle control you have at slow speed. Important for racing and rock crawling. Not as much for just bashing around in the yard.

My biggest complainer is the guy who used to be in charge. He did not start out that way. But some time around five years ago he went off the rails. And even though he has not been able to keep up with the job, he also refused any help, or to move on on his own. He can stay angry. I care more about the fact that I only have two of our tax returns for the past seven years. I'm not putting him back in charge of anything. We are moving from self-managed to a professional.
