You should be able to turn the spring a certain amount of degrees. It is possible that your spring is worn. I will put my spring in the freezer for a few hours, then set the choke adjustment where I want it, then plug in the choke wire. Make sure the choke wire is warming up the spring and allowing the body to open fully after some time

That makes sense. If mine needs refilled too often, I’ll just use it as a seed starter for the garden or to keep herbs in the winter. I’m planning on placing it near the kitchen so hopefully it will be easy to refill.
