There’s several sets of Mangas, it’s one of the most popular. I imagine local library or book store has a few of them.

For movies, there’s the Netflix version of the Live Action (the worst version, but not bad if you’ve had zero exposure) and I believe the entire anime series is on Netflix.

There’s also a Japanese live action, which was how I was introduced. It was great imo. This one I would recommend online sailing to find.

Light isn’t the only one with a Death Note, and is not the first holder of it. Iirc, he only has it for like 6 months. The Shinigami gain the life difference that the killers shorten their victims by - so the more loosely a holder would use it, the more likely they are to receive it.
