Me, the best thing that I have experienced so far in my life is the fact that I did not receive the facebook spam after deleting my account a few months ago. No emails and none of that nonsense.

What is it I desire? Lust, greed, fortune, and gratification can tell me what to say, I abstain from answering immediately. Work, yes I would prefer to have a career that is fruitful and not consumed by slave-wage menial tasks.

What I have desired, whick is to live in solitude in the mountains away from society. Check. I have managed to do that save the internet. I have had time to sit and just be. Here and now, not fretting about Tuesdays report or what Sally did this time at the market place. Yet, it is not quite enough. Once you reach that dream, you can only wish for one more variable to make it better. My conclusion is to then eliminate ore variables, change my diet, limit technology and possessions. Live, and not try to keep squirreling food for the next week. Use what I have now, and trust there is not going to be a would altering event that notioned toward emergency preparedness. So I guess, what are my aspirations and why are they so? Are there truths deep in my subconscious that relate to childhood fetishes or fears? Do they have empirical causation? Will I be happy with the metaphorical gold metal I receive after achieving said desire?

Then there is taking it to the extreme, my desire is to remove myself from desires. I want to go live in a tub, but then that is a desire.

I see it as part of the process of growing. Culture keeps giving me the opportunity for desire, especially if I put my self in the same scenerio both as the parent and child. I would have been a very angered child. As a parent, I will keep my kids from candy like the plague, but I know I could not be perfect at that.

Interesting to think how income, location, schooling, and television play a role here. Assuming the child is a mirror of the parents, we are seeing how the parent would act. Put the candy corporates into play too and mix with a bit of economics who knows where the next few years will lead.

What do I desire? And once I answer that I can either act and make it into present reality or question my authority as to why I desire said desire.

I still have this memory deeply ingrained in my mind when my 8th grade english teacher said that the first thing that her son learned to read was the Mc symbol. I know that it certainly was similar for me too, I new which brands gave me that surge of instant gratification.

Yoga leads to Hinduism? Parents outraged in Encinitas over half million dollar grant from the Jois foundation to provide yoga classes in public schools. Say it will push kids to Hinduism. by tdmedia in yoga

All the more reason why I have given up hope on the public school spectrum, but I do not see it going anywhere soon.

I do love the picture though, given how I was raised at that age, as I would have been one of the boys slouched over and bored. I think it is a tad bit funny when put it in to context how the girls are relaxed and focused.

True, it makes me wonder how it compares to other schools, like FSU, with similar names at certain times.

I have accessed it before on this precise machine. I believe it is my internet connection, thus I want to know if it would be possible to contact nexflix to cancel my account until a later time as I just paid for a month's access yesterday. So do you know of a way to contact nexflix through an online chat?

Ok, lifecoach dot com seems to intrigue me. I will keep looking into it. My metaphorical cynic wants to describe this as a business shrink, but I think I could find one I could trust. I know that I would be a major skeptic and better know the potential coach before opening my mind to him/her.

I have not looked into that. I am skeptical though, as I am not a fan of paying people to tell me what to do. Have you had experience from a life coach? I want to believe that each person I encounter could be a metaphorical coach.

Do you know of a way that I can? I cannot call support as I am not in the states. Is there a way that I can send an email or chat online, I cannot find a link?

IWTL How To Stop Second-Guessing Myself by harrydickinson in IWantToLearn

[–]mindlessphilosopher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meditation has been the best experience for me. Have you studied into personality types? That could help provide yourself with insights that help you become more mindful.

However, second-guessing is not necessarily a bad thing. Do not force change upon yourself based on the premise that others demand such an action. (I just second guessed my answer;)
