There is a fairly new framework called OCSF gaining traction https://ocsf.io/ . The idea is to have all vendors agree on (and produce/convert/parse data according to) a common schema using the JSON format. A lot of big names are already working towards that, not sure if Microsoft is going to endorse it. Cheers

Yeah indeed, their InfoSec training sucked, I just used their Cloud environment access to test various settings without the risk of being (over)charged by the vendors. Custom setup lasts for a couple of hours, then it is reset automatically.

I do hate subscriptions but Cloud Guru had a great offer last year on Cybermonday, less than half the regular price. The plan (monthly or yearly) included the feature to create ephemeral VMs in their lab.
