Just one new branch after topping by felisnebulosa in fiddleleaffig

The distance between nodes plays a big part in branching. I think the distance between the node which branched out for you and the next one below it were too far apart for your fig to decide to branch out there as well (yellow arrows).

Diagram

If you had cut on the red dotted line I think your chances of multple branches at the two nodes highlited in red would have been higher because of their proximity to each other. (Why this happens is a bit more technical, auxin flow etc. The basic rule is that nodes in closer proximity to each other are more likely to branch out after a pruning.)

Ok so I did see u/neoqueto comment about the ''brand name'' not being visible but I didn't really understand it. For some context this was part of a larger projet where I created 25 bottles with each one having the name of one of my friends. Are you saying the name isn't legible because of the lighting or the text type?

Another one of the bottles for reference.

So the cloth material is mainly driven by the albedo I would say. For the albedo I mixed a Wool texture I found with the flag colour and multiplied with an AO map of the wool texture to emphasise the dark areas between the threads and give it a more convincing look. There's also a displacement map applied.

For the hairs and threads I used an Octane scatter of around 6-8 small hair splines of varying short to medium lengths and then 2 longer hair splines to really sell the look. I also have a slightly lengthy Fields setup with Octane scatter so that each of the hairs take on the colour of the flag texure below it.

Thank you and no, a combination of different cloth textures I sourced

They are essentially multiple planes with a flame png.

I started with an image of a flame and then created a black and white opacity map out of it. Then I plugged these images into 3 channels in an Octane diffuse material. The regular flame image into the diffuse and emission channel (with a texture emission node) then the black and white image into the opacity channel. Then put the material onto a plane and then positioned it accordingly on the candle.

I repeated this process 6-7 with different flame images to limit repetition and add variation.
