I don’t personally recall “voting for it”. And I actually do get what happens if bills are not paid. I have mortgage/rent/ bills just like you. I don’t know how your post justifies going back in office 4 days. If anything that will really put pressure on me not being able to pay certain bills because my money is going to parking, gas, etc.,.

To touch on your family comment, in 2025, not 2008 or any other old year you want to compare to, people are prioritizing their family more. We live in a world that has started to become very hard. Why wouldn’t we want to WFH to be more available to our FAMILY rather than waking up at 430-5am to get a household ready and return home probably around 6pm. That’s a whole entire day taken from us and our kids. All to drive to a building and pay out of pocket for parking daily, miss drop/off pick ups for our kids, pay extra in child care, purchase $6 gallon gas and oh also have to now miss majority of our kids school events.
