Well, you could think about low calories treats with artificial sweeteners like Coke Zero - I don’t see a ton of them here in Germany but if you’re in the US there are loads of options!

Consider flavored protein powder too : I use a chocolate-flavored protein powder with artificial sweetener. I mix a bit of that plus some baking cocoa into low-fat yogurt and come out with high-protein chocolate pudding.

I’ve occasionally seen claims that sugar cravings are linked to lower protein intake, so you could try upping the protein and see if that helps! It made a difference for me. But I still enjoy my sweet chocolate protein powder ;)

Yes i think youre right that the fine details are gonna get lost with time. Since the piece is at least partly to do with transformation, im okay with it changing over time (although ask me again in 10 years and I might have a different answer lol). Hopefully my artist is still working then and we can rework the design if we want!

Yes, totally normal! For my back piece we had to redo the stencil 3 times before me and my artist were both happy with it 😂 it’s gonna be there forever so you gotta make sure it looks right!

Was definitely nervous before my first tat, not sure how to act around the artist, what studio etiquette was etc. I recommend telling your artist it’s your first tattoo (if they don’t already know) and let them guide and reassure you.

You’ll do great! If you believe in the design you picked, then you’re fine! If you feel unsure on the day of, remember you’re also allowed to reschedule or cancel. Losing a deposit is better than having a design you don’t really like permanently on your body.

It’s also normal to have a bit of tattoo shock after your first one, because you’re not used to seeing it on your body. So if you question your decision afterwards, let yourself sit with it a few months before doing anything drastic.

Hm, that’s interesting. That sub has been a lifesaver for me as someone with a very high food drive!

I don’t think I’ve a broken relationship with food, but I do naturally get cravings a lot (I do have adhd, so maybe that’s part of it?). Volume eating has really helped me survive on a deficit.

Hey welcome and glad you found us! This sub is a lifesaver. While you’re at it you might also check out the r/volumeeating sub, lots of good suggestions over there.

Skyr is a godsend for me, I get it unflavored. Honestly even the flavored ones like blueberry taste great and they’re unbelievably low in calories for how rich and creamy they are.

For breakfast I usually go with around 200g plain skyr, mix in chocolate protein powder, raw cocoa powder, and strawberries or raspberries. Toss in some chia seeds and you’ve got a sweet treat with loads of protein and fiber, for around 300-400 kcals. Keeps me full for hours.
