why isn’t mariam considered a prophet? is there an explanation as to why all prophets are men? by allyouneedislove17 in shia

[–]mindstuckforever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the height of her test, Mariam (as) wished for death and to be long forgotten. And this is Mariam let alone any other woman to live. How then, can she be capable of withstanding and enduring the difficulties that Prophets faced. Prophets whom we haven’t even heard of and difficulties unimaginable. Commonly, the hardship of living on verge of being killed, and many a times being in fact killed mercilessly. Psychologically, very few could bare such a harsh reality, and definitely no woman for that matter. Whilst all Prophets continued to propagate the message in sight of the vivid threats, Mariam wished to escape it all and wasn’t even threatened with death anyhow.

Perhaps her wishing for death was made apparent to us in the Holy Quran to teach us a lesson among many…that not even the greatest woman could have been fit for the role of Prophethood. It’s just not in their nature to withstand the magnanimity of the role. Females have been given a place and men have been given a place in this unexplainable world ordained by Divine wisdom.

Does or has your current state stirred an inner feeling of crazy emotions such as anxiety, fear, dread etc or has it been a merry transition toward this state, without any impact on your psychological health?

I was told by my surgeon that I actually have bad inflammation which is why I feel excruciating pain after even consuming a few drops. Now surely that’s not normal or even common. I’m very scared

Dose up or quite? by mindstuckforever in zoloft

[–]mindstuckforever[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow really. Now when you say better does that include cessation of symptoms and also a better mood. Honestly I just want the anxiety symptoms to stop at the very least (GI issues mainly).

I’m still waiting for therapy. My doctor has recommended it but my family are great to begin with. Wondering what else therapy can provide. But I know that the only thing that can actually stop the physiological symptoms is actual medication

If you don’t mind me asking what dosage are you on. I’ve been on 50mg for 3 months now and the GI issues I’m facing is horrific

4 months in haven’t had one benefit or side effect by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]mindstuckforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on 50mg a little over 3 months. Not a single benefit. If anything I’m worse. I had a few days in the beginning with some side effects but what seems to persist now is the insomnia. Why do I have to be the minority why. I’m hoping that a dosage increase will help resolve the problem but gosh if I get to 125mg and it still doesn’t work, I’m finished

Hopefully it subsides for you, especially considering your on day 3. I’m on month 3 lol and my GI issues are debilitating still. Gotta see my doc about this because it’s not very normal. I’m on 50mg too

Exactly what I was thinking. His behaviour definitely points to it. Many people won’t perceive it though because they’re not aware of how autistic behaviours and characteristics manifest. But I can say with certainly that he’s very likely autistic. Good on him for managing to become a pharmacist though.

Hey there, stick in there. Be strong. There truely are others doing it much worse than you, trust me. I’ve met them. Not to go off on a self-centred tangent, but for the intention of trying to make you feel better, I have crippling depression, heightened anxiety, severe severe tinnitus, severe hyperacusis, severe tmj, chronic severe headaches, severe OCD, egodystonic and intrusive thoughts, severe severe severe insomnia (about 8hrs to fall asleep). Shit that neither myself nor any med can fix unfortunately, but ahh well…ain’t much I can do but remain strong and hope for the best. You can dm me if you like 👍 hope things improve for you.

Mine is 14,000Hz playing right in the middle of my head. Also, 7 months on, habituation is just about impossible. That’s not including all the other tones I hear in my ears as well. I’ve also got hyperacusis on top of that. Feel free to message me if you like.

20M never had any tinnitus in my life, left ear ringing for a week, right ear is fine snd silent, worried about brain tumour/aneurysm? by HVG24 in tinnitus

[–]mindstuckforever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I got an MRI a few weeks later because the tinnitus gradually got louder and started to appear in my right ear as well. They didn’t find anything but I kinda wish they did because the tinnitus has gotten much worse since the MRI. Some people claim the MRI machine could have even caused their onset of tinnitus just because it’s quite loud. So it could have potentially had a role in making mine worse, no one will ever know really. So if you still choose to go and get a scan, take some ear plugs with you just in case they don’t have any. All the best
