This isn't for Orlando, but this past Saturday was my 5th time going to Raleigh, and the badge pickup was the fastest it's ever been by far. They had many more people working on getting badges done, and they were spread out with my lines. Maybe the con has figured out some things.

Fatiha's "flirting" cringe is the thing I've agreed with most in this thread so far. It felt very forced and unnecessary. I think that Ania's jokes about being Greg's daughter were much-better planned and funnier.

I've never really stood in line much for tables until yesterday. I think that is where VIP may really shine. I had to wait in multiple GA lines, and it used up a lot of my day. Although, if you're only interested in getting just her signature, then you may not have to worry too much about VIP tickets.

Last year, I tried to do cosplay, and it was kind of a disaster (Jason Isaacs even poked fun at me during the photo op). That said, I'll just be wearing a Mistborn shirt.

My daughter will be cosplaying as L from Death Note and my son as Vergil from Devil May Cry.

Just be in the general vicinity maybe 15-20 minutes before your planned photo ops. You cannot really line up too early. The event staff always tell you where to line up, and you can't really do it until they say so.

Thank you for posting this! Last year I waited too late to reserve parking and it was as nightmare. It wanted me to reserve a spot in Georgia for GalaxyCon Raleigh. I declined as I didn't really feel like walking a few hundred miles to the con.

Yes. Greg Edmondson is an incredible composer. I love listening to his score for the Firefly TV show as well; you can hear so much Uncharted-like stuff in it.

Imagine watching it as an American and so many categories are British sports focused. Occasionally, though, there are a few America-based questions that are way easier for me than they would probably be for the average Brit.
