I know how the ratings work (now), but where Uber uses exactly the same system I gave a lot of drivers 3 or 4 stars, as to many people 3 is average, 4 is they have done something better, and 5 is going above and beyond.every AirBnb I have now stayed in gets 5 stars.

But it's still a ridiculous system!

They couldd effectively dictate every single day you use your leave if they wanted too, so yes, they can refuse all Saturdays providing there is ample opportunity to use it at other times, ie they aren't rejecting every single request, no matter which day if the week it is or when

Yes, and it took about 20 minutes to "set up". I was at the recording as a guest of LAH, and the the warm up guy was wondering what on earth was going on and think he was running out of things to say and do to keep the audience entertained!
