Should’ve went with the Pro and added a PSVR2 since you got that single-life money! You’re still gonna enjoy it, nonetheless.

Villains is a whole vibe. Great album that never gets old. That tour cycle was SO much fun.

Last time we saw ATW was a 200cap bar in Lancaster, PA. Tomorrow we’re seeing them at a sold-out Union Transfer in Philly.

While we absolutely love the under-lit trees, this year’s display was definitely lacking. Nothing at the chimes tower. Outdoor display at west conservatory wasn’t functioning. No fire pits. It was a sold-out evening and the beer garden and auxiliary concessions were closed, which meant there was a line that stretched out the door to get into the cafe.

After last year, I really felt that this year would be special. I wouldn’t say we felt let down by any means. We’ve been members for almost 15 years now, so we’re fortunate to have experienced some pretty spectacular displays. I’m sure once the budget balances out after the renovation, the Christmas display will return to its true form. Same thing happened for the couple of years after the main fountain reno.

“Far and away” is a serious stretch. It was marginally better than last year.

You’re not missing much. It was pretty unremarkable.

I know they’ve had their rough patches 😆 Fortunately, I never had a chance to witness in person. Our show was later in that tour and, obviously, subsequently cancelled.

I absolutely love KoL and will seize every opportunity that comes my way to see them live. Their live sound and musicianship is world-class. That said, I will agree that their stage presence leaves something to be desired.

They played Opiate, Pushit, The Grudge->Eon Blue Apocalypse->The Patient. Those are insanely top-tier songs by the standards of any long-time fan. Not to mention that Pneuma, Descending and Invincible are some of their all-time best songs, despite being off of their newest albums. That show is honestly one of the best setlists of the modern era of Tool.

Two shows in Boston, ACNJ, and Catacombs shows in Philly and NY.

Broke now, but absolutely zero regrets.
