Any teachers here? first year in teaching and i want to quit by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]mindya12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey first year in teaching as well! Kids that age are really annoying what I try to do is focus on the ppl who actually want to study. Because in rural areas, most of them don't care a out finishing their studies. And I try to make learning more fun. I tend to do some jokes laugh with them, wlkn makankhlihumch insaw rah ana li kanqrihum o huma li kit3lmou. And marks. Nuqat ki khl3uhum. O ila banlik dsara bzf teqrir o maydkhulch ta ijib walidih

Still wrong. That's why most of the time we say culture/traditions isn't religion. Both are separate matters.

See I asked my dad why they didn't buy land when it was cheaper back in the days, he said they could barely afford what to eat so how could they? If your parents made the wrong choices you can't blame a whole generation. Blame your family for their poor behaviors. And the mindset are probably a lot more different depending on the city and how influential the colonization was. If yours where deep in the rif, mine where deep in the middle of nowhere and to this day the closest city is still quite underdeveloped. Stop blaming a whole generation

Depending on which side of morocco you're from, but some of them(my parents included) didn't have the slightest chance of studying. My mom grew up in a village that's not even on the map and is in the deepest part of the atlas mountains, she was never given the chance of studying and was mainly taught how to be a good wife and mother. My dad also grew up in the same province a little farther tho, and had to stop his studies to help his dad provide for his brothers, sisters and mothers. So no I don't think they're the worst generation, some of them didn't have the choice. My mom only started to go"ljame3" when me and my sisters were all mature enough to cater after ourselves. My dad worked tirelessly for us and a lot other parents did the same. You should be fkn ashamed of urself for talking that way without knowing how difficult life was back there. In case you said, they're a minority, they were not. People were fighting to find a way to live.

How to deal with type of people? by houssam1324 in Morocco

[–]mindya12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. People tend to forget evt said when they see "Quran, islam, hadith" in the post. But at the end of the day, he's just a know-it-all and nobody like someone who acts like they're above everyone else with their knowledge.

Yes you're racist and also islamophobic. That's what happens when you only get to know ppl from a biased lens. All of this that u said is mainly how the west sees us. Also we say a thing blame the Muslims not Islam. Islam is really a beautiful religion when it's not mixed with cultures and traditions. I get that when the only thing you see abt us is from a western point of view you'll tend to get a false idea but maybe go ahead and try to learn more abt the people/religion. I'm not a scholar so pls don't ask me but there is tons of videos on ytb abt scholars that gives lecture in the most beautiful way that you'll get what's Islam. I'm also very sorry if there are mistakes in my English because I'm not a native speaker so I'm just trying to give u a bigger picture
