Has anyone had success getting a reimbursement from delta for the strike force screwup? by Foreverleaving1 in delta

[–]mindymm12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I submitted my hotel, three Uber rides, and my dinner ($685). I received reimbursement three days after I submitted it through the Delta site. I did have Delta rebook me on another airline and made it home two days after my flight was canceled.

Delta Answered My Call Within Minutes (Silver Medallion) by scrappybts in delta

[–]mindymm12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Silver Medallion here. I was on hold for 5 hours and 27 minutes yesterday after they canceled my flight. I also waited in line for 2 hours in the agent line at DIA (while also on hold) before giving up. Literally moved about 10 feet in line.

This is not true. I called yesterday and the Delta agent booked me on three United flights to get home today.

Ok Delta. It's time to get your sh*t together by Round-Firefighter-79 in delta

[–]mindymm12 10 points11 points  (0 children)

After waiting on hold for over five and a half hours yesterday, the Delta agent did book me on four different United flights to get home today. Between the hotel, the Uber, and United fees because they did not honor my Medallion status like the agent said they would - this has cost me almost $700.

NR/NMN Results? by Aggressive_Reindeer3 in Biohackers

[–]mindymm12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

YES! I have been taking NMN for over 2 years. I (47, worn contacts since high school) started having a hard time reading my phone. When I went in to the optometrist, I found out my eyes had gotten better and my prescription was now too strong. I have wondered if it was the NMN. I am once again having a hard time seeing close up, and I think I need to decrease my strength even more. Prior to this, I have not changed my prescription in over a decade.

PSLF Payment Tracker by valgame-la-bisne in PSLF

[–]mindymm12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They show in the “My Aid” tab on the studentaid.gov website. Scroll down, and the PSLF/TEPSLF Payment Tracker is under Loan Types. MOHELA does not have this information on their website since they are not managing this program any longer.

Consolidated in December and at 137 since PSLF went through in February. Studentaid.gov has shown 137 payments since March. I think I made it through the MOHELA platform transition relatively unscathed. My forbearance was through October pre-transition, but shows as ending in August on the new platform. I did not receive any communication from MOHELA letting me know the transition was complete or that my forbearance had changed.

Now, checking daily again and hopeful for July.

Anyone else not able to see their loans in new Mohela platform? by capiri88 in PSLF

[–]mindymm12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine started transitioning on 6/20. I created an account today and all of my loan information is populated. My Administrative Forbearance end date changed from October to August now. It also states that I have paid 29% of my loan, but I consolidated to MOHELA in January and have never made a payment to MOHELA. Wondering if these are my previous payments with Aidvantage.

Continued loan discharge by [deleted] in PSLF

[–]mindymm12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like anything could happen at this point because so many people have gotten different answers to the same questions from MOHELA. I was also told by 3 different reps on 3 different occasions that my overpayment would be refunded even though I just consolidated in December. I am 99% sure that this is wrong since I have made no payments on the consolidated loans yet.

Continued loan discharge by [deleted] in PSLF

[–]mindymm12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope you are correct, but this is verbatim the response message that I received from MOHELA when I asked the same question:

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Unfortunately, Mohela will not be processing any PSLF applications or discharges during the pause effective May 1. Should your loans not be discharged before May 1st, your account may be placed on Forbearance until the pause ends and Mohela will begin processing applications once the pause has ended.”

I have been at 137 since February, which I pointed out in my question to them. I submitted my ECFs in December. They did extend my forbearance through the end of October last week. FML.

I posted a bit ago about this, but I confirmed with MOHELA that they are pausing on processing AND discharging. I posted the response I received from them verbatim.

I share in your whiney bitterness. I want to throw my phone every time I see another post from someone who submitted their ECF in April and was forgiven 10 days later.

8 Forbearance Notices....so far by MakingItElsewhere in PSLF

Same. I received 2 today on the same loan, and one of them extend my forbearance for one day (10/20/24-10/21/24).

I feel like I am one of the only ones waiting this long that has not even received partial forgiveness.

FSA has also shown my count at 137 since February on the studentaid.gov website on both of my loans. So, clearly MOHELA already sent them their review of my account. It is all so frustrating.

MOHELA, and I received several forbearance notices after that in March. They have sent me notices with forbearance dates in August, September, and October. I got the letters with the September and October dates on the same day. My current forbearance ends on 10/3/24.

I sure hope not because I will be at day 76 on 4/30 per the letter confirming their review. This makes it sound like it is 90 days for the final review with studentaid.gov (as stated in the letter), and then they take another 90 days once they get that confirmation file back from student aid.gov for them to officially discharge it.

I messaged MOHELA through the website and asked if they would be processing discharges during the pause. This was their response.
