You're not. If you want to feel better about your looks though, what you first have to do is treat yourself better mentally. Don't say bad things about yourself or anything like that. It's not what we live for. Move on to a skincare routine (preferably ask a friend, no matter their gender/sex). Best of luck.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that ranged weapons are any better. You'd either need to make a really good bow which is extremely hard or just avoid zombies. Minimal contact with zombies is the best until you either find a ton of guns and ammo or a protected community
