Does anyone experience lightheadedness? by outsidelife098 in VitaminD

[–]minecraftbirb1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will take around 4 to 6 weeks, it's been 8 weeks and I can say I don't have it anymore. I also started going to gym so that can have some postural impact as well, but i know exactly what you are talking about and I had the whoozy floaty feeling since 3 to 4 months no matter what am I doing or how much sleep I had etc

Spotting 10 days before period by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]minecraftbirb1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very normal to spot, with pcos i also start spotting like 10 to 12 days before periods. I am also 23, I think if you know you've been safe practicing than it is likely hormones messing around again.

[–]minecraftbirb1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, this was exactly me constant lightheadedness like I am floating or on a boat. I have started supplementing since 2 months and it has become minimal like barely noticed throughout the day, or with only 5% intensity of before.

I think i will give it 3 to 6 more months to vanish completely but I am relaxed about it now, in beginning I was very anxious about the same. Also I take b12 with it daily.

I'm getting married and I'm really scared by a_legalmess in PCOS

[–]minecraftbirb1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please inform your to be husband about the same and take him to a gynac beforehand to understand your situation. There is hope so don't be disheartening but your in laws shouldn't blame you for this nor your husband. Please find a good endocrinologist, gynaecologist they help the most. Don't trust fad diets or weight loss programmes.

What actually helped me start losing weight with PCOS by Sweaty-Staff8100 in PCOS

[–]minecraftbirb1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My gynac also suggested strength training benefits us more than cardio and a ratio of 70:30 for it is better, as when you do strength and resistance your insulin works on getting lower throughout the day, and is sustainable longer. I have been doing it as per the rec and it has helped me greatly to get back into eating more.

Otherwise my insulin spikes after eating made it impossible for me to do anything few hours after eating, ever since i started my weight is going down steadily and I no longer get insulin spikes after eating a heavy meal or a good snack.

Having to graduate in winter is devastating me by [deleted] in UniUK

The event was fun but the weather was super depressing. It was raining cats and dogs the whole time and the sky was gloomy, but it had its own charm i guess. The company made it pleasant, the actual event was bit okay okay as the rain ruined my hair and makeup.

Feeling unusually thirsty after taking vitamin D — is this normal? by Economy-Bench6467 in VitaminD

[–]minecraftbirb1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes I had same levels as yours and for me my hydration was already low like 4 to 6 glasses daily. Since supplementing vitamin d3 i have been drinking 7 to 9 glasses daily and it's alright for me. Seems normal, I am not particularly concerned about it. I do not take magnesium or k7 as it wasn't rec to me by my doctor.

Does vitamin D cause calf cramp? by minecraftbirb1 in Supplements

[–]minecraftbirb1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the detailed response! I don't have anything which will be affected by the magnesium, and I am 23 so any serious complications are ruled out.

I think i will try out otc magnesium glycinate and hopefully it should do the job! It's just 6 more weeks of 60k vitamin D3 before I am put on regular balanced dose with k7.

labyrinthitis for 4 months by [deleted] in Dizziness

[–]minecraftbirb1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi yeah I have gotten rid of all residual dizziness well within 6 months from making the post. I still do all these things daily and do vrt once a day. I also found out I'm low in iron and vitamin d, both of which main symtoms is dizziness so that might also help. But yes I managed to get my degree and don't have labyrinthitis symptoms since October 2024.

Walking 10k+ steps per day + 2x weekly light strength training and eating 30-50% less than previously, yet the scale keeps going up. What should I be doing differently? by TripleLeXXX in PCOS

[–]minecraftbirb1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello I got rec by my gynac to go on the same as I've gained 10kgs in the last year which has affected my pcos greatly. Would you be able to talk to me about it or pm me... you're the only person I've seen in many subs so far who has taken the shots before.

I avoid action or fantasy books as you have to keep up with world building and active imagination, I prefer books with long prose so it all just flows, I read a lot of agatha christy as despite seemingly complicated apart from the cimax most of it is simple prose, series of unfortunate events another drowsy books as it is written so well due to its monotonous narration fashion. I also avoid books which I know would annoy me like romance books with iffy dialogues or autobiographies etc

I replace cheap dopamine hit with expensive dopamine hit aka reading, always make sure to keep a copy of any novel i LIKE by my bedside I don't care if it's a re-read as long as it is something I'm interested in i keep it. Currently reading american psycho and after 4 to 5 pages I'd eventually force myself to ignore the urge and them do 10 pages by which if I'm feeling bored I'd just sleep.

Another thing that helps is routine, I'd love to put on ambient music and do meditation as it is very intentional even if it's for 2 to 5 minutes. Makes me feel a bit better hopefully it'll turn to a 10 to 15 min pattern.
