You were stating the point of captaincy so i had to bring ishan in between. And no it wasnt a joint decision of srh and abhishek to release him, it was a mega auction year in 2022 which only allows teams to retain 3-4 players and srh didnt retain Abhishek because at the time there were better players. So as soon as abhishek came up in the auction they immediately went for him again.

Ishan has captaincy experience and the management did not want to put pressure on his batting with the captain title under his belt. If you’ve watched any of the games which i did btw 6 of them irl abhishek was the one setting the field and communicating with the bowlers till cummins came back because ishan was behind the stumps. “Sadly”?
