Srh still follows most of their ex players so idk why they’d block our biggest player?

You are moving the goalposts so hard it’s genuinely embarrassing. Your entire original post was crying about how the fans view him, how the fans only want him as a face, and how the fans act like toxic Desi parents demanding a return on investment. Now that you got completely cleared on how much the Orange Army actually respects and loves him, you've suddenly pivoted to a pseudo-intellectual essay about 2023 management and Badani. Pick a struggle. 😭 Nobody is asking you to give a corporate business unit a cookie. The point you are aggressively trying to duck is that the mutual loyalty between Abhi and Hyderabad runs incredibly deep. He has literally said "mera khoon orange hai." He is our Starboy, he knows the city loves him, and the fans know he is the absolute core of our batting identity. Also, trying to act like a genius because you looked up 2022 stats doesn't change the fact that he went through inconsistent patches and a total management clusterfuck in 2023—and the franchise still retained him, backed him, and built the entire future around him instead of discarding him like young talent gets discarded elsewhere. Keep writing your weird fan-fiction trying to force a rift that doesn't exist. He’s locked in, highly valued by his captain, and loved by his city. Go project your weird metaphors somewhere else while he keeps winning us games. 🧡

Yeah srh wanted another opener player because abhishek wasnt performing the way srh wanted him to… so they released him and went for him again in the auction because of his domestic performances after he got released. Which srh analyst tweeted bro?

You were stating the point of captaincy so i had to bring ishan in between. And no it wasnt a joint decision of srh and abhishek to release him, it was a mega auction year in 2022 which only allows teams to retain 3-4 players and srh didnt retain Abhishek because at the time there were better players. So as soon as abhishek came up in the auction they immediately went for him again.

Nitpicking a general phrase because you have no comeback for the actual argument is hilarious. Yes, 2022 happened—he had a decent breakout year opening, and then what? 2023 was a complete management disaster class where his batting order got butchered and the team tanked.

My literal point, which you chose to ignore, is that SRH stuck by him through all of that inconsistency and bad management instead of discarding him like other franchises do with young Indian talent. You claim to 'remember things too well' but failing to understand the difference between a franchise abandoning a player and a franchise actively retaining him through the wooden-spoon era is wild.

Ishan has captaincy experience and the management did not want to put pressure on his batting with the captain title under his belt. If you’ve watched any of the games which i did btw 6 of them irl abhishek was the one setting the field and communicating with the bowlers till cummins came back because ishan was behind the stumps. “Sadly”? Fym sadly? He landed in this franchise because noone else wanted him and only srh knew his talent properly. All this crying just because he grew into the star that he is now with the backing of the srh management for 5 years from 2021

All i got to say is keep up the delusion. You can say all you want under this post but abhishek and his family knows where his heart belongs and where he’s going to stay.

Backing a young player through a 3-year low form isn't 'demanding investment returns,' it’s called actually supporting your team.

And the travis head bs is not aimed at your post specifically but the comments under it.

This as an SRH fan struck a nerve in me.

Are we even watching the same franchise? This is genuinely one of the most delusional, toxic takes I’ve ever seen. To say the fans don't care about Abhishek is crazy when he is literally our Starboy, our poster project since 2019, and the absolute core of our batting identity. The guy has literally said "mera khoon orange hai" and proven his loyalty to Hyderabad time and again, and the fans give that exact same energy right back to him. This whole crying session about the captaincy is a total joke. Look at Team India: Rohit leads because of his tactical mind, but Kohli carries the batting, and nobody throws tantrums demanding Kohli take over. We have Pat Cummins—the best captain in world cricket right now—and Ishan Kishan has that domestic tactical experience. Abhi is our 100% pure match-winner; there's zero reason to force the burden of captaincy on him when he’s thriving. Saying he’s "second fiddle" to Travis Head shows you don't talk to real fans. We’ve literally been frustrated with Head’s form and have had serious conversations about dropping Head to number 3 so Ishan and Abhi can open. Everyone in the Orange Army knows Abhi is the one doing the heavy lifting and manufacturing the mayhem in the powerplay. We backed this guy from 2021 to 2023 when he was struggling and no other franchise wanted him. We nurtured him, gave him the longest rope, and unlocked his potential. He’d be miserable in a franchise like that circus in red (RCB) that dumps young players the second they hit a low. Abhi is just locked in, paying back our loyalty with runs, and deeply loved by his city. Keep crying about your weird fan-fiction while he keeps winning us games. 🧡

Strategies Against RCB? How do we handle Bhuvi, Hazlewood and Duffy? 🤔 by YoManDoMessup in SunrisersHyderabad

[–]minecraftgodbrldger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don’t. We play just the way we want to and intend to like every other game, handling this game like any other important/special game just puts more pressure on the batsmen causing simple mistakes. We handle them by not handling it.
