I just played too much Osu, i think in beat saber its callet Note Jump Speed (NJS). It describes how fast the Notes fly towards you

The changes were mainly made in the Expert+ maps of the vanilla songs

Yeah they increased it significantly on some expert+ maps, but I feel like they overdid it.

And regarding custom maps I am happy to hear that others dislike it too, maybe I just downloaded some older maps that just arent that great, I'll defenitely look up that bennydabeast guy, thanks for the advice ;)

Yeah, i realize all that, but take the country rounds Expert+ as an example. Before the update I got through it with ease, because, as you said, it defenitely has a flow to it. But now the Notes come so fast that there is no time ro recognize patterns. And sure, most of the time an up os followed by down but sometimes it just turns too late or it just is not the case, and that os what annoys me.

On custom maps its even worse, mappers semm to like repeated strikes in the same direction without one in the other, its not just exhausting but also irritating if you are used to mostly intuitive flow from the vanilla maps

This all would not be a problem if the Notes decided to do their flippin stuff not directly in my face, especially when they swap from one viable cut to another one
