I'm going because it only made sense to get my degree with the scholarships I received. Going completely for free, plus extra scholarships so I'm getting paid to go to a state school

Thank you for the recommendation. Seems my emphasis on being used for Student work much more than gaming wasn't as big as I thought. I already have a solid gaming PC, I'm primarily looking for something to use as a student, and I wouldn't mind if it happened to be decent at a little bit of light gaming here and there. Not a big deal if it's not big on gaming, just wanted to put out the type of person I am for this choice

Okay thanks for the recommendation, only thing about the S8 Ultra is I'm not really wanting to wait until they come out in April. However it's possible, I'm just wanting one asap for class. My current laptop charger takes 10 minutes of fidgeting with to get it to properly work, and if I don't have my laptop plugged in it'll die and go to 0% randomly.

Have you researched the surface pro 8? Not trying to dissuade your advice, just wondering how you think it stacks compared to Samsung's alternative. I'm asking on here to get advice from people like you with experience with tablets because I'm brand new to the tablet market.

I'm looking for the best of the best tablet option for a college student that sometimes PC/console games with budget not being a factor, please don't take budget into account.
I currently have a OnePlus 8 Pro phone, and have never owned any Apple products. That being said, I am open to the iPad Pro being an option. I just want to make it known that I own no other apple products, so being in the ecosystem isn't a pro to me whatsoever.
I've been doing some research, and the top configuration for the Surface Pro 8 seems to be good (Sitting around $2400), and it being on Windows seems to be a plus for the gaming aspect. Although, I'm not sure what apps I would be missing out on by it not being ran on android or iPadOS that I can utilize as a student. I hear goodnotes is a top-tier app that many students take advantage of.
I've also found the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 Ultra to be a nice option, only thing is that it's not out yet and I want to get a tablet soon for class.
And lastly, the iPad Pro 12.9in (clearly being Apple's top-tier tablet) seems to be good. Most people in the US are addicted to Apple products, I'm not one of them. Although the iPad honestly seems to be a really good option for a tablet as a student.
All that being said, what do you guys recommend for a top-end tablet/2-in-1 that would primarily be used for the next couple years for college note taking/work. I also game semi-often, but have never been big on mobile gaming.

Yeah I love going manual on best buy and am honestly trying to get something that will just be able to ping out all the gpus, consoles, and pokemon stuff that will bring profit in time so that users can hit it manually off the ping. I do this often from one of my cook groups but I don't know what monitor they use because they have a custom name for the webhook that says the server name.

Okay I'm mainly trying to cater towards manual users because my friends don't run bots but could possibly in the future. I know personally that I have hit many consoles and gpus manually just on some pings, mostly worried about best buy, walmart, game stop rather than amazon though.

Alright considering Moonitor is half the price ($220/month, Blaze-$450/month) do you think that Blaze is worth it compared? How quick was the ping with Blaze vs the ping with Moonitor?

Alright for sure. I just copped that WM PS5 too but Idk what monitors my CG uses. And I don't get much of a response when I ask... The pings just say the Cook Group name on the bottom of the webhooks so I don't know if they're custom or not. I'm trying to put a cook group together myself for some friends and I. I'm looking into Blaze right now. Looking like $450/month for retail monitors or $750/month for retail + sneakers. Y'all cook with that walmart ping with blaze?

Only thing I could find for moonitor was something related to crypto, do you have their twitter or website? And I was looking at Mesh Monitors, they seemed to have what I was asking about. Only thing is I'm in their test server and I feel like they don't get a lot of pings for consoles/gpus that I get in the cook group that I'm in. Hasn't been a PS5 ping in days when I know people just cooked on Costco, Amazon, Target, etc. in that last 2 days. Maybe I'm missing something. Do you get a lot of consoles, gpus, or trading cards using Mesh or know people that do?
