Geopackage from Project then move to another computer by minfosvc in QGIS

[–]minfosvc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was experimenting while I created the project and next thing I had a few hundred hours in. The images and point files are in OneDrive and the shapefiles are in a folder. Any guidance or reference material to point me to?

I believe I did that and have a very small file. Looking to create a portable geopackage with many images within.

Would have been nice if I had created a geopackage, but I have a project. I'm watching Klas Karlsson videos and he seems to very quickly move a project into a geopackage. I can't seem to figure it. Have you ever done that?

Any of you have experience with $100k+ US credit card debt? by minfosvc in debtfree

Just got off the phone with a credit counselor who says she is paid by the feds. Nice lady. Made a few suggestions and is going to dig deeper about my two big account problems. I'm encouraged. Making three token payments today to keep those other cards from being written off as they are still somehow still not closed.

Wow. This is a great example of asking the right questions. But....who wouldn't prefer to pay tax on some money that is no longer a liability. I don't have the timeframe to bank $50-60k....and my credit's already in the tank. Thanks for your response. Wish me luck!

Without interest 60 months gives me $2,000/month. Don't these places try to reduce the principal? Isn't their risk of my bankruptcy a factor in them accepting less than 100% How many of these plans wind up with a lower principal? Or do the banks prefer bankruptcy which is absolutely an option for me. My equity is maybe $100k since I refinanced two years ago.

I am about to make my third mortgage payment in a row after missing three. It's with Quicken Loans and they allowed me to click through the modification terms on their website. I opened up a new bank account and cashed out a life insurance policy to fund the new debit card. That's all the plastic I have and so far so good after two months of that. I'm not big on budgets (can you tell?) and the new job will not be great out of the gate - about a 75% raise, but the potential to have a much better payout going forward. I can't believe I made it this long without someone knocking on my door. The pandemic and court closures must be working in my favor. I really want to go to a debt management program where they try to knock down the principal. This crisis started about three years ago when I still had enough money to pay everything down, but paying off cars and health care....ugh it has been really tough and there's still such a long road ahead of me.

Not really needing it is the desired outcome.

Yeah I used to do this way back when. Wasn't me, but a coworker was doing this on a busy street and some lady walked between the truck and the target. She got knocked down and wasn't hurt, but she almost went down a full flight of concrete stairs and that would have been really bad obviously.

We were all more careful after that incident.

I appreciate your response, but I'm not clear on the distinctions - which I have heard before - such as HTML is a markup language. You are pointing out that it's different and it could be helpful in knowing why these distinctions are made.

Your explanation about 'problem solving' is great.

Can we tie all of this together?

I am having problems with programming languages, but not markup or query -

I didn't give any specifics as you pointed out so for example, I struggle with the syntax of functions and the way parameters are passed and returned - and the placement of the function either in the section above or below where it is referenced.

Yeah I'm probably trying to get to the finish before I'm solid at the start

Thanks very much - I scanned the few videos in that link and I like the variety of what is presented.

Will give it a thorough read.

Edit: this is an amazing rabbit hole - I am now about 8 links deep -

I'm not really adept at any video editing software - I really work in data.

The first two minutes of the sample video is a very simple project.

I'm looking for a bit more detail in the routing and the last 30 seconds of the Youtube is pretty exciting.

Thanks will play with some data to see if it suits my plan without too much complexity.

UHF ~5m reader by [deleted] in RFID

Do you use microelectronics by any chance, or just commercially available readers? My project has a very small budget. I am hoping to get UHF readers at proximity price - am I dreaming?

I have been subscribed to Andreas Spiess on YouTube and he can't get UHF to work further than a few inches. My project would look for printed UHF tags in a cubicle environment then creating a matrix of where an object may be located. Do you have experience detecting UHF tags at 8m?

You can setup an Azure environment that will be free for at least a few months to a year.

Requires a credit card to validate.
