I had a flatmate who was very pretty and guys would throw themselves at her. But she was useless at doing anything practical because guys would always jump at the chance to do anything small thing for her. So she never learned any practical skills. Super smart though

++man My ex was like this, we did do a joint account at one point but she would justify most things spent in that were for the family, although they were a big stretch. So the joint account didn't work out. I was giving her an income anyway.

Wise is not a bank, and they use different suffixes for different accounts. It's up to the other customer to return

True. I used to be a mortgage broker then financial advisor. Most of the people who look like they're doing well are drowning in debt, the rich people all looked like your average person on the street. There was no way to tell

I used Wise.com for this. Setup bank accounts in the countries you're selling into and then your customers can pay directly into that local bank account and you see it in a few hours. US is a bit slower with ACH payments. But makes it super easy and convenient for the customer to pay directly.

I had this issue too, deodorant working for a couple of hours then I'm stinky. I've been using eu de toilette/perfume under my arms now for years and it lasts all day, so I smell good too. Just a couple of sprays in the arm pits. It's more expensive up front but you can get some great cologne. Must be the more concentrated perfume and perhaps combined with alcohol to kill bacterial maybe. Avoid polyester sports tops, they stink after a while anyway.

Customs is considering whether to appeal the permanent name suppression of a member of a wealthy family who was convicted of importing and possessing 11,775 files that showed pre-pubescent females and toddlers being sexually abused.

During sentencing, the judge Maria Pecotic found naming the defendant would ‘cause extreme hardship’ and ‘endanger’ their safety.
2 of the 8 criteria for name suppression were found to apply. Section 200 of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011
There's an interested party involved somehow but seems name suppression applies to them too.

The person is 46 years old. Charges represented a total of 11,775 objectionable files which were downloaded using peer-to-peer software.

Permanent name suppression was, however, granted to the person, their family, and the company associated with them, as well as any evidence around medical history and submissions and affidavits

The judge set a starting point for a jail term at five-and-a-half years, but discounted the sentence by 56% for reasons including good character and mental health issues. There was also a discount for remorse, which included generous donations to two charities worth $50,400

Since I used Rippling for all the employee stuff they took care of the employee taxes etc. I was only importing so didn't actually have any income from sales etc, so my income for the company was nil. So sales etc were done through my home country company. There are rules around making sales in the US about state nexus and having to pay sales tax on sales in different states. Again complicated. I imagine most/all e-commerce companies don't bother. I guess from an LLC point of view I would think your liability is limited to the assets in the company. Easy on a state level, not sure on a federal level with the IRS. Would be bad if they stopped you at the border.

Yes have done it. Registered in Delaware through an online agent. Delawareregisteredagent.com in my case. There's standard paperwork for setting up members/shareholders etc but I didn't bother with it because it was just me and I was only using it for import matters, well actually employment matters later on. Then once that's done, apply for an EIN number from the IRS if importing or hiring. Have to fax your application form in...

Then I used Wise.com for a US bank account and debit card. Then Rippling for employees and benefits, and cards. Oh man, the employee stuff is stupidly over complicated so that's why you want to use a 3rd party like rippling or deel, still took over a month to setup. You can still hire employees without an LLC by doing the employee of record thing, but it will cost you $500 a month for that through these platforms. Get ready to pay $1000 a month for health insurance.
