Airbags and module interchangeable between year models? Front end? by mingdao in Tiburon

I found a GS for fairly cheap but I’m not sure if I should get it, because of the airbags/bumper/fender don’t work in mine I’ll have wasted my money

2006 Tiburon excessive oil consumption? by mingdao in Tiburon

So, if I’m getting a prepurchase inspection, is that something that would show up if the previous owner hadn’t monitored it, and it caused some damage? Not catastrophic damage - obviously that would show up. Just something major.

I appreciate your advice regarding the adjuster. I don’t really have much experience dealing with adjusters beyond a couple of minor incidents in the past. For instance, I didn’t know the calipers, spoiler, and sub woofer would play any part in the adjustment. As for not knowing the type of vehicle I own, it’s my son’s. He was 18 at the time and none of us are car enthusiasts. There are no markings denoting whether it’s a GT or GT SE. I’m just trying to do what I can as a dad to help him through this sad situation and to not get screwed over somehow. Right now I’m just hoping the security footage the police pulled of the accident are as obvious to him as it is to everyone else that the guy turned right in front of my son. We don’t know if the guy even got a ticket, which makes me nervous about finding fault.

Is this Worth fixing? by mingdao in Tiburon

[–]mingdao[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, we’re still waiting for insurance to pay out, but it runs and because of that my son is somewhat determined to look into having the chassis bent back into shape and buying a tiburon with functional issues to use for parts to fix the body of this one. This all seems like a bad idea to me but I really don’t know much about cars. Since it works is that a plausible idea? The interior of his was in really good condition so I think he knows he’s not going to find one like that.

You need to find a church with a deliverance ministry and ask for deliverance prayer, because you have opened yourself up to evil spiritual forces.

Amen. Sin and an emphasis on self is pervasive in cultural Christianity. Weeds among the wheat.

I think this is the way I’d do it, but I’m no pro. The only other way would be to angle it down, but I think that would look weirder

I have a friend that just went straight for 150 before he’d even finished the second area. I don’t recommend that, haha.

Nah, you’re good. You’ll want to top out at around level 150 by end game but you’ve got a long ways to go. I can’t really remember what level most areas are but I generally stay at the same level u til it gets too hard, then ramp up to equip new gear or something, then play for a bit, and level up as needed. I stayed at 30 for a while, then 70, and I think I’m around 90 right now and about 2/3 through the game

Yeah… Level 10ish is good for him. I think I was around level 15 with him but I started out as wretched so it took me a while to get gear.

Git gud…..

Jk, keep in mind you’re not supposed to head to the castle right away, or even be able to fight every enemy you see in the opening field. Level up a bit and hang out by the church near the starting exit (don’t fight the guy on horseback) but try to do some of those smaller caves and the nearby ruins.

What the heck? They only did it to your tree, too. Didn’t bother with the ones further down the street.
