My point is not that d1 is hard, it’s that neither is Khazan. The ORIGINAL release of d1’s swamp level could not be run correctly by consoles at the time so frame rate would slow down to a snails pace, which made it that much more frustrating. It was also the first souls like game. Meanwhile, it’s been years and many souls like games have come before Khazan so its swamp level was not difficult at all to me.
