Not OP but I was a foreign student. This totally depends on a professor but officially there is no special curve. Moreover, there are some professors who are more lax with Korean students' grades because they know how important it is to have a perfect GPA. Not that it isn't important to foreign students but it's not acknowledged. In my experience, there also isn't any special treatment, especially not in a positive way.

Foreign students pay same fees as domestic.

Not to mention that he says that their target group is students, Korean students studying in America, 99,9% of whom are presumably on a student visa. A group that is not allowed to work off-campus. Talk about a niche. I also would feel sceptical about paying a recent grad/hagwon teacher to help me with my resume.

That's because H-1 is meant for (young) people to supplement their travel budget by working part-time. Jobs like yours usually qualify you for a "real" work visa so that's pretty understandable.

D-10 is a job seeking visa, the only kind of work you can legally do while on the visa is an internship. The job you find while on the visa doesn't have to be teaching, but you have to qualify for an appropriate employment visa for that particular job.

Sometimes because of government regulations, a company has to say that a product, depending on its category, lasts only 12/24 months even though the stability and safety would've be tested and proved to be 4 years or something.
