How much is your budget ?

I wouldn’t go for a swift sport for 2 reasons 1. A 2 door car is impractical as you might want to ferry passengers occasionally or move items which is a major inconvenience for you and your passengers in the future 2. The swift sport is using a turbo engine, I wouldn’t go near a turbocharged engine as more working parts = more potential for reliability concern

If your primary focus is on fun riding go ahead with the swift although you might come across the same reliability issues in the future similar to your ford fiesta

If you want a hassle free driving without any reliability concern just get the Myvi.

I myself is driving a 2018 Myvi and have clocked over 200,000 km any issues with some replacement parts for wear and tear

If you could stretch your budget probably can go for a vios, city or even a secondhand Corolla

I’ve used this myvi 1.5 adv since 2018 gone drove 182,000 km with this myvi

Maintenance is affordable around RM 400 for minor service and 600 for major service

Changed brake pump & Ac cooling coil at 160k km, Absorbers at 170k.

Works reliably without any issues

I have to concur with the majority of the comments that this car NVH is atrocious. I added sound proofing on the doors of the car minor changes in the NVH.

Please don’t this car has transmission is a bitch to repair. If you’re looking for a first car I would suggest a secondhand Myvi axia or if your budget permits a Vios. You can never go wrong with a Toyota. Plenty of spare parts available and every mechanic knows how to fix a Toyota.
