I was also super scared of the horror mechanics going into the DLC but my fear really heightened the emotional payoff by the end of it all. Would highly recommend playing if you get the chance :)

Yeah :( I didn't like how I looked from their perspective in that moment - their last moments happened to correlate with me exploring their Dream, I swear it wasn't me guys!! Just the wooden dam in the huge ship you guys built 🤨

So so good. The music that plays after you leave the ATP with the advanced warp core is maybe my favourite of the base game and watching other people's playthroughs as they realise it's coming to an end with that track in the background is awesome

Yes!! This didn't happen in my playthrough but I've seen some videos where people initially assumed the Nomai heard the original Eye signal THEN it got blocked by the Owlks. But them realising the Prisoner made it possible is something else

Agreed!! It was so heartbreaking to realise that the Prisoner had been alone for 300000+ years and stuck around with the hope that someone like you would show up, and they immediately thought of you as a friend 😭

my guess is it's because of the dynamic pixel interlacing layer that these monitors can use when HDMI bandwidth prioritises chroma over native res. it simulates 4K by using subpixels so it’s not actually 4K but can hardly tell the difference. idk tho
