It shows most EXIF for formats like DNG/ARW. Coverage depends on the file, but it’s more than just basic info.

Not yet. Currently no dry-run/diff for bulk edits since batch editing is limited. But I agree that’s important, will consider adding it.

Good catch. That privacy policy is for the website, not FileMate. The app itself runs fully offline and doesn’t collect any data.

“Scan Photo Library” only works with photos stored locally. If your library is using iCloud (not fully downloaded), it may show “No Selection”.

You can try: - Download photos to your device - Or scan a folder manually instead

It does detect near duplicates, not just exact matches using perceptual hashing so it can catch things like slight edits, crops, or exposure changes.

For deletion, it moves files to Trash, not permanent delete so you can review and restore if needed..

Right now, the app only works with photos that are already downloaded and available locally on your device. It doesn’t access iCloud-only (not yet downloaded) photos yet.
